Very nice end result!

This red shoe polish was great. I used the standard shoe polishing process: First I applied a Leather Deglazer (primarily acetone). This removes the seal the original company had on the shoes. Wear nitrile gloves (chemical safe). Second I applied the red shoe cream. I worked the product into the leather, rubbing in small circles to apply a thin even coat. Third I used a slightly damp cloth and wiped down the entire surface of both shoes. Fourth I used a clean cloth to remove excess red shoe cream, and polish the remaining layer. They look great! I wish I'd taken a before pic... The shoes aren't old, but the original color wasn't a bold enough red for my tastes. This new red hue is a better match for the red jacket I have.

Good staining power

I used this on a leather jacket that was starting to look worn and shabby. The cream can be messy, so I put down plenty of newspapers to work on. It took about half an hour and dried to the touch in about 5 minutes. A quick buff with a horsehair brush, and the jacket looked nearly like new. The product worked better than expected. I would suggest wearing some disposable vinyl gloves to keep from staining your fingers.

Shoe cream works on leather sofas, too.

We have a dark red leather sofa that had several scratches and was faded from sun. The color looked close, so I ordered the cream. When it arrived the lid was cracked and it had leaked slightly into the bubble wrap. I tested the color and it was very close. I used a rag to apply and followed directions to polish. The sofa looks so much better. It shines again. I was also glad to see that the red color washed off my hands easily with soap. Good product!

There is no dislikes. I have shoes that color and I use it to polish my shoes.

English tan polish

Ease to use. Good color when put on Rockport London tan Oxford shoes. Wears quicker than expected, appears that I will have to apply more often than expected

Pretty good!

Decent cream: Polishes fairly well, though it obviously won't polish like a wax-based polish. It feels like it does hydrate the leather nicely, which is the reason I chose a cream over a polish. 4 stars because it worked as I expected it to and I'm happy with the results, but I had to use a lot more than I expected. The leather on the 2 pairs of boots I did just kept drinking up moisture, so I only did one layer. The last photo shows the unused jar of clear cream next to the what was left of the black after I did both pairs.

Poorly Packaged But Otherwise Good Product

My container was wrapped in the thinnest bubble wrap on the market and placed in a padded envelope. Obviously it arrived with a cracked lid. Fortunately the glass was intact, so all it took was a bit of super glue. Despite that I'm still giving this four stars because of how great the actual product is. It goes on nice and smooth, coverage is excellent and it even smells kinda nice! Much easier to use than standard hard wax. Once dry it buffs down to a nice light shine, as leather should look. It made my horribly scuffed shoes look relatively new again.

Works well but be careful with the brown colours

If you are looking at this page and are having a hard time deciding between dark brown and medium brown, the actual creams are lighter in reality than on this product page. I ordered medium brown the first time around and, as with others leaving reviews, noticed that the medium brown is much lighter than expected and seems to have a definite red tint to it. I'll be ordering dark brown this time around to give the darker colour a shot. Overall I like this product and found that it worked well and was easy to use even though the initial colour I ordered was not what I was expecting. I have attached a closer up image of the medium brown cream under brighter lighting to help others deciding on which brown to go with.

Very good shoe cream but hit and miss with the state of the cream in the container.

I purchased three of these, Black, Dark Brown, and Medium Brown. I bought them to recondition some old Allen Edmonds I found. The black and dark brown worked perfect and the cream was just that, a nice creamy consistency. Unfortunately, the medium brown came dried up and almost empty, not sure what happened here. For now, I am giving 2 stars since there is some terrible QA going on but will update when the replacement one comes in. ******UPDATE***** I received the replacement Medium Brown Shoe Cream today, it is perfect and not dried up. Thank you Amazon for such a quick fix to the issue.
