Good product, but…
EH always makes great quality. No issues except for the idiotic sticker placed on the bottom right of the unglazed part. The glue residue won’t come off, despite soaking in hot soapy water and scrubbing with a steel mesh. The quality control person- Yvette was proud of her company’s product, but she could have put a sticker, if one was absolutely necessary on the shiny glazed part that would have pealed off easier.

Excellent product
I've always used metal loaf pans but after using Emile Henry's ceramic loaf pan, I could never go back to metal.

Insufficient Dimensions????
Currently as of 10/23/21 Amz is the seller of this item and has failed to specify the actual measurements that really mean anything- The INSIDE Dimensions, which determines the size of your final baked loaf???? This is a very nice Emile Henry dish but I purchased it at a whopping $40 bucks because of the listing’s specified measurements were bigger than the other loaf pan I purchased (brand KOOV) for nearly half the cost at $23. However, this Emile Henry loaf pan is even shorter in height than my other brand. Actual TRUE measurements of this E.H. Loaf Pan are as follows. Outside dimensions (close to listed measurements): 9 7/8” Length 5 13/16” Width 3” averaged Height on ruffle edges Inside dimensions (much smaller than those specified on listing): 8 15/16” Length 4 3/4” Width 2 5/8” Height/Depth measured from the middle of inside pan. Keep in mind that this loaf pan also tapers at the bottom. The difference between the measurements of length and width at the top compared to the bottom length and width are about 1” smaller at the bottom. We haven’t used this piece yet, although it looks nice, it doesn’t seem it will be as useful as the other brand that I recently purchased. We haven’t baked in either one of them yet as we just received them. We’ll need to see how they both hold up over time with oven use and see the final size of our loaves of bread and how they turn out. Wish there were accurate inside dimensions on listing or if only there were a review or something stating the inside dimensions before hand, I would not have purchased this based on the small measurements. Though the high price (must be for the name brand) and the fact that we have it now, we’ll be keeping it. Hoping this review will be found helpful to others in making their decisions????

Beautiful dish
Back when silicon was the rage, I got some silicon bakeware but over the years as I have become a more seasoned baker, I have decided I hate them all. You just don’t get even baking or a nice crust with silicon. My first Emile Henry purchase was a pie pan, and I loved it so much I started adding other pieces. This loaf pan is stunning, and baked goods can be presented in the dish over the holidays. One thing to be aware of is that the dish is bigger ( 1.4 quarts, 10”x6”x3.1”) than a standard American loaf pan (1 quart, 8.5”x4.5”x2.5”) so a recipe doesn’t quite fill the pan adequately. You need to 1.5x the recipe or you will end up with a squat loaf.

Best baking pan
I made two loaves of bread; one in metal and the other in the Emile Henry pan. The bread in the Emile Henry pan rose more and the texture made it a much better loaf than the loaf in the metal pan. I highly recommend the Emile Henry. It is easy to clean and makes a huge improvement in baked goods.

Worthwhile investment
If you cook and bake and don't like to scrub dishes and pans, then Emily Henry is for you! This 3 quart pan is very versatile when making smaller quantities than a 13 x 9 inch pan accommodates. Add this one to your arsenal. I'm glad I did.

Love this bakeware!
After I tried a piece of Emile Henry bakeware, I ended up buying many more; I think I'm up to 8 pieces plus 4 ramekins. It's a little on the expensive side but really worth it in my opinion. Bakes evenly & cleans up like a dream. Received product in a timely fashion & happy with purchase.
