Very good starter set
The light hanging set has all the components you need to hang your backyard lights, and a bit extra. Except for the tools, like a drill, everything is pretty much included. The wire itself is solid, and the tightening hooks are a must for a straight end result. It also has a few redundant and backup ones, which might be useful if one is damaged, or needs to move. Or you can try using both stucco and tree mounted setups with the leftovers. Overall a useful set for first time light hanging.

Everything *this* beginner needed to hang lights "bistro style" across the yard
I have no connection of any sort to any manufacturer of, or any vendor for, this product, and I received this item in exchange for my personal honest and unbiased evaluation and review. I liked this kit a lot because it has everything that's needed to put up any household-weight string lights or individual hanging lights across an open space, without stressing the electrical wiring of string lights. It's sturdy enough, if the anchors are screwed-in well, to hold up a few sets of LED strings, so lights can be mixed'n'matched. The set included over 100' of cable. Since I've never put up lights this way, I personally liked that I didn't have to guess, or else spend a lot of time searching online, to try to figure out what I might need. The included hardware can be used with a variety of anchor points, including walls, fence posts, overhead structures like pergolas, patio covers, or even soffits. They can also be looped around various garden poles, like shepherd's hooks. And since the loops are made using a U-shaped bolt, it's also possible to change your design around if you want to. This kit also included 52 small black zip ties that match the black covering on the steel cable. They can be used to attach the light string, and also can be used to keep individual hanging lights where you put them. And the cable is slender enough that it can go through the "eyes" that are at the top of some commercial-quality light strings. So I personally liked that versatility a lot, because I was able to try out several different ways to hang my lights. So I'm happy with this kit. It didn't come with instructions, but it includes a card that tells you where to go online to download them. I liked that the instructions were pretty good, too. If you want to use a wall or fence post as an anchor, just be sure to have the drill bit that will work with your chosen surface.

Kinda, sorta all right....
There are things I like and things I dislike about this set... First of all, the most important thing: It does a good job to hang two strands of lights; four if you double back on yourself to create long "V-shaped" strands. It could easily hang more, but only two turnbuckles are included for tension adjustment. You'd have to pull the others taut and screw the cable clamp tight simultaneously...that works, but it's a pain and doesn't allow you to adjust out any future wire stretch. That brings me to what I dislike. There are weird numbers of components. Eight cable clamps imply that there are sufficient parts for four strands, yet there are only the two turnbuckles and two screw-in hook eyes. You'll have to use the other anchors if you need more. For some reason, there are three carabiners...outside of a compromise in a product design meeting between the two-carabiner faction and the four-carabiner faction, I can't see how they got to that number. (Off topic, but I have this mental image of two product managers arguing with each other across a conference table and their boss, channeling his inner Solomon, saying, "Knock it off, already. We'll put in three") Bottom line...it works well to hang your lights. Just plan on making a trip to your local hardware store when you need to flesh out the set with a few additional components.

Kit that includes all types of hardware to install a string light installation.
This set includes a large variety of different hardware so that you have one box to assist you with all the different situations that may arise while trying to install string lights in your property onto a variety of materials, which in my property included wanted trees, siding, wood, metal and others. I found that the steel cable was not that easy to install. However once it was installed, it was extremely strong and sturdy.

I was able to string my lights
This had the pieces I needed to string my lights across the pool deck. I didn’t need all of the included items but honestly I didn’t even know where to begin when I wanted to do this. This was simple enough and was easy to follow. Very happy.

Excellent kit. Strung from our pine across the pool deck. Premium hardware.
This has been an amazing kit and didn't even know they made something like this. I thought we just string our lights across. But this has been a sturdy, always stays up the same height kit that was not difficult to put up if you can put up a clothesline at camp you can do this. We placed it up in our pine tree high and across our pool deck. Looks amazing and want to say this is a premium hardware kit.

Has Everything You need To Hang Your lights Up. Great Kit and Convenient
This is a great all in one light hanging kit. I was able to hang 2 packs of 50 foot string lights up on my deck zig zag across. All you need is a drill and a plier to turn the bolts. You have to be careful when unwinding the string. I didn't do it carefully and it got all tangled up. When you hang the lights with these, you get a more professional looking result. The lights stay night and taut. It makes hanging the lights up a lot easier and cleaner looking. Everything was well packaged and instructions were clear. It's very simple to use and with a helping hand it makes the job a lot easier. I would not hang lights without a kit or hardware like this. This is a no brainer!
