Birds love it
Solidly built and perfect for nyjer seed. We often see eight goldfinches at the feeder and more waiting for their turn.

The bird feeder is wonderful and a great size but the wire handle didn't come with it

Not as good as I hoped.
I was disappointed with this. We got it because the fabric sock kind we had the birds loved so much they would eventually peck holes in it. We thought this one would be better and last longer. But the birds wouldn’t eat out of it. They would land on it and try but it was as if the holes weren’t big enough for their beaks to get the seed out. We ended up going back to the sock type.

BEST feeder ever!
If feeding finches is your goal, this is fantastic. Top flips up to load, then screws shut. Base is fixed so squirrels can't get in. One of the last feeders I had the squirrels figured out how to unscrew the bottom and top. With Nyger seed being expensive, that was a loosing situation for the birds and myself! I do have to fill it often because they eat so much. The feeder is covered with birds!

Delightful addition to our garden
Instantly popular with neighborhood finches. There are often ten or more feeding at one time while others wait their turn. Easy to fill & clean.

Built great but birds avoid it!
We had been using the cheap sock feeders and were amazed at how many beautiful finches came to feed. Not wanting to keep buying replacement socks every few weeks, we purchased this well built finch feeder. Unfortunately, after several weeks of this feeder hanging, I have seen only one bird very occasionally on it I was so hoping to enjoy watching the birds feeding on this feeder. I don't know if it is the design, or color, or what, but nothing changed except the feeder itself to case lots of birds to now find somewhere else to eat.

The finches like it but…
It’s hard to open and close and when you fill it the seeds spill out all over the floor… not worth $67.
