Buyer be warned

After using them for several construction projects, I can confidently say this brand cannot get the sizes right. Either they are TOO BIG or as is the case with this one TOO SMALL! I installed this filter and it was way too small. I figured I would give them a chance so I turned in the unit and the filter was nearly sucked in. They should properly measure their products and ensure they are the correct size before selling them at the advertised sizes. Putting this side by side with a properly labeled filter shows that it is slightly smaller. ADDITIONALLY, these carbon filters are not wrapped in plastic. They are simply tossed in a box and arrived with a few bends here and there in the pleats. Anyone who knows anything about carbon will tell you that this significantly lowers the effectiveness of the carbon (in case all the air rushing thru the gaps wasn’t making this an ineffective product already). Lastly, it has a lower number of pleats than the most basic and cheapest filters. I do not recommend this filter. You have been warned.
