I love this brand

I bought some of these with a Christmas pattern at Whole Foods and loved them so much. I use them as a lint-free cloth for drying my hands before handling my contact lenses. For years I handled my contacts with wet hands and didn't know that it damages the contact lenses by creating cracks which can in turn harm your eyes. Now I know better. I then used paper towels for years and while they were relatively lint free, especially when I rubbed my hands together to get any bits off before touching my lenses, I didn't like the waste, so I tried these. I loved them so much! I've been using the same three for a couple years now for my contacts twice a day and they are still like new. I've had no problems washing them in the washer and dryer with t-shirts. They don't even pick up lint from the wash. I loved these enough that I bought these in this color (the blues) on Amazon and she still raves about them. She says she loves the quality and the color. Companies love planned obsolesce, but forget that when we love something, we tend to buy them as gifts for our friends! These are great. Perhaps their absorbency could be better, but really I prefer great quality to not be compromised by striving for absolute (and usually imaginary) perfection. These are great the way they are and hope they never change! . . . except perhaps for some great new patterns and colors to collect and gift.

Works great

The towels work well. The only disappointment was the color. My kitchen floors and counters are grey, but the 'grey' kitchen towels have a green tint to them, so they look out of place hanging in my kitchen.

Perfect Kitchen Towels

I only recently became aware of how perfect floursack towels are in the kitchen. Whether drying dishes, clean counters or even glassware, they are absorbent on spite of their thinnesses and leave no lint or streaks. Absolutely perfect!!

Colorful and absorbent kitchen addition

Maybe I’m weird and I most assuredly am but I like everything one can see to be nice-looking, including dish towels. These are not only very colorful and unadorned (not a fan of patterns or designs on towels) but they’re also the most absorbent towels I’ve tried - and also they dry dishes fast and completely.

Disappointed

Really liked these until I put them in the dryer on low heat. They really shrunk up. I wish they made them in a larger size.

Great for embroidery

Purchased to embroider designs so my kids could use them as skate towels. Quality fabric, vibrant colors, and they absorb well to dry off wet ice skates, and dry quickly to use next time.

Beautiful colours, nicely pkged

These flour sack towels arrive in a pretty little package tied with fabric ribbon (as shown in listing) and protected with plastic. The colours are rich and beautiful, fabric is somewhat rustic but that is to be expected. There is a twill tape hanging loop in one corner Be aware the colours do bleed, especially the orange. So wash separately at least the first few times. If you're fussy about wrinkles, you may want to iron these. They are 100% cotton, made in India. They would make a nice gift for someone.

Cleans glasses great

We bought these towels to use to clean eye glasses. Other cloths leave streaks when cleaning eye glasses with a spray. These towels cleaned great. Didn't leave streaks & didn't smear them.

Not as good as before

Not as absorbent as the old flour sacks that I have bought before with the same name

Great towels!

These towels are far more absorbant than most you buy. If "flour sackl" isn't part of their title on the label then chances are they might not be as absorbant, unless they are the thick-two ply ones. Double ply tea towels are very rarely found. You need a good absorbant hand towel to dry your hands or a dish and these flour sack towels do both quite nicely. They dry quicker as well and not like the others I've had that take hours on end to dry after every use. I'm very happy with these tea towels and would recommend them most definitely! Love the colors too!

Thin material

Super cute but thin
