Genuine Flokati
Made in Greece from New Zealand wool. Super soft and will shed initially. Just shake it outside to clean and fluff. It is really a floor blanket that works great in low traffic areas where luxe-cozy is needed! The shedding stops after a week or so but understand it will shed until it wears away and an indication it is in a too high traffic area. It is natural wool it resists bugs and bacteria. Just shake it out…never vacuum or rake.

I had bought one in Europe several years ago that was much thicker so was expecting this to be the same.

Great value
For the price point these are comfortable and high quality down/feather mix pillows. Considering that 100% Canadian white goose down costs significantly more these are the next best option. They look and feel better than I expected and seem to be made well. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

I love it.
I bought two and I bought the 4 x 6, why? because they will be easier to clean. I can just pick them up and shake them outside. If I had bought a bigger rug, I couldn't do that. The good: these rugs look amazing and exactly how a Flokati should be. For those that have never owned a flokati rug and are not familiar with them they ARE supposed to be thin, this is NOT shag carpeting, it's an all wool carpet. If you want thicker then buy fake shag and leave us Flokati lovers to the real deal. When these arrived, I opened them up----very carefully, btw. I shook them off outside just to get any loose strays off, then I left them out in the clean air, just to get the plastic bag smell off of them. Then I brought them in and laid them down. They are nice, light and airy and they cozy up my spare bedroom very nicely. The "bad": there really isn't a "bad" thing about them. The only thing I can think of is I really should've put down an underlayment rug pad. which I will buy today. They will move around if you don't have them with a rug pad. A very easy fix. The colour: it is an off-white, cream colour. It looks like fur---real fur which it should. It should NOT look stark white! If you're looking for stark white buy something else. Having said that, these are not yellow like I've read in some of the reviews; not at all. they are the colour of cream and they are beautiful. I've posted some pics. I love them and would easily buy these again and again. I'd even buy these to use as a couch pad for the dogs because dog fur will NOT stick to them and what a bonus that is for us dog owners.

Very hard to clean
it is fluffy but very thin feeling not very comfortable like more plush rugs would be. Impossible to vacuum anything from it as it gets stuck in the fibers. I’ve resorted to using a pet brush to comb out the dirt but it removes a good amount of wool. and I’ve constantly got a white layer of fuzz all over my socks or even just clothes that are on the rug more of a hastle than it’s worth

Gorgeous and comfortable for the price; Shedding is an ongoing thing
Great quality for the price. (Please note: This is NOT a flokati from Greece, so the quality and density is NOT there - nor is the price!) The color of this rug is nice and neutral. Perfect for bedside stepping in a cold environment. BUT! They shed. All. The. Time. I bought three of these and they are good quality for the price - I was surprised at the density and feel of the wool at such a low cost. However, even after washing and drying, they continue to shed. Not a big deal; you just have to vacuum or pick it up. Cats and dogs love these, so it’s an ongoing thing.

My first flokati and I’m in love!
So far I don’t see a need for a rug pad, since it’s being held down by a cocktail table. Also, I can just snuggle my feet under the rug when I sit on the sofa. ???? Cleaning emergency! First day I had it, I managed to drip some tomato-y juices from a soup I made. Just a little gentle scrub with tepid water and a tiny bit of dish soap, and it was good as new! Just do this immediately after the spill! Over all, I LOVE the rug!
