Good jump around boot, without being over priced.

Great feel and fit, easy on and easy off. Roughish finish, looks better stuffed anyway.

Not what they used to be

I have been wearing Nunn Bush since 2007. I have a pair of their Layton Moc Toe Sport Oxfords that I liked so much that, when they wore out, I bought another pair in 2017. So, when looking for a boot that would fit my wide feet, and after trying several different brands (to no avail), I thought to myself "maybe Nunn Bush makes boots." Lo and behold, they do! They looked amazing on Amazon. Checked all the boxes. More or less a boot version of my shoes. So, I placed the order, and awaited the delivery with breathless anticipation. I shouldn't have bothered. At first glance, they look nice, laying there in the box, all wrapped up in shoe-paper. Picking them up, I remarked on how light they were. Then I realized why: they are very cheaply made. Comparing them to my shoes, the leather is thinner, the inside is made with cheap padding, and the toe-box is noticeably narrower, despite being marketed as a wide boot. While I could fit my feet inside, my toes were noticeably cramped. To add insult to injury, if you look at their website, it says that they are based out of Milwaukee since 1912, but when you look at the label inside the shoe, it says "Made In China". If you are looking for quality boots that fit, look elsewhere.

Comfortable work shoes

Waterproof for an inch

The materials may be waterproof but shoe construction makes it useless. The tongue is not sewn to the shoe. Water or snow above the base of the tongue will make your feet wet. If you never go out while it’s raining, encounter a puddle or a modest snow, these will be fine. For the price, these are junk.
