So far so good. I received this yesterday and tried it out and I am so far impressed. I got this for two reasons: to take lug nuts off my truck and trailer and also to raise/lower my trailer for quicker setup. I looked at other rechargeable and air options (since I have a compressor), but I wanted something portable for travel. I have had to change trailer tires in over 90 degree heat before, and I wanted something to make that job a little easier. I also wanted something that was fairly reasonable. I have seen other rechargeable impact wrenches for well over $300 but I wasn't willing to spend that much on something I may not use very often. This product seemed to fit the bill when it came to cost vs. function. When I received the product, I was surprised that the battery was almost fully charged. Just to be sure, I plugged it in to charge the battery and after about 20 minutes it was totally charged. I took it out to the backyard to test it on my trailer jacks and it did a stellar job. Even after the trailer was level I wanted to see how much torque it had in order to lift the trailer and it lifted the corner I was working on with ease. This is a trailer that weighs close to 6000 pounds. I tried it on lug nuts on my truck the other day and it worked great. No problems whatsoever in getting the lug nuts off and then getting them back on. I also used it to take off some bolts underneath the truck on the suspension and it worked extremely well. I plan on bringing this with me whenever I am camping or in the backcountry just in case I have to change a tire on the fly. Highly recommended for the price!

Plenty of Torque. Easily removed lug nuts. Good price.

I tested it on one of my cars that has lug nuts torqued to 107 ft lbs. It had no problems removing the nuts. Seems to have an electronic brake that stops the rotation after you let go of the trigger. Unlike a pneumatic wrench, that helps the nut from flying off after loosening it. I like the indicator lights that tell you the level of charge in the battery. The impact wrench also came with a nice hard plastic case and a charger. I will see how well the battery stays charged after being stored in my car for a month or so, and then probably buy another unit for my other car. Very nice tool with plenty of torque for lug nuts and very reasonably priced. I would recommend it.

Good enough impact wrench for occasional, DIY mechanics.

I pretty much do all car repairs myself, and sometimes will help out my friends on their car problems too. This impact wrench is a great tool for such purpose. I m sure it’s not a professional grade wrench, but if you do car repairs occasionally just like me, this thing will work just fine. The battery life is very good too. I did several cars in the last couple weeks and the battery is still full. Be sure to buy a good quality torque wrench as well to avoid under / over tightening.

She done broke

I was pretty happy about this impact gun aside from the fact that the trigger seemed to be intermittent at times but today, after using it for a couple years but rarely, maybe 20 wheels off and on, it done broke. As others have stated, the impact/clutch mechanism broke. It spins but cannot product any torque at all. I can hold it from spinning with my fingers. So all and all I have to rate this pretty low. Your results may vary so I gave it two stars but that is being generous. Any mechanic that uses this daily should be able to break it within a week if your results are as bad as mine. If it were $29 or so maybe OK but $119 is quite a bit for a tool that breaks this quickly.

Impressive tool for the price. I have only used it for about two months, but it has been heavy duty use. I was able to remove the axle nut on the front of my truck and it is was torqued to 150 ft lbs and had loctite on it. Also removed the knuckles to install a lift and those have 3 bolts that are 130 ft lbs.

Plenty of power.

I wanted mainly to remove and install my dual riding lawn mower blades more quickly . I find it has enough power to break and install the lug nuts on my van. I keep it in a compartment at all times. If I ever have a flat I can change tires more easily.

Changed my review after further use

I honestly had to come back and rewrite my review, at first I gave it only 2 stars, it seemed to struggle with removing caliber bolts, since then I haven't had any problems, I removed strut bolts with ease,over this past weekend...sorry for the bad review at first but this thing is a beast....maybe I didn't get a good charge first time, or it needed to break in

Great product!

Very comparable item! I originally bought this to make pulling a transmission from a junkyard easier on myself and it has proven its worth ! Yea it’s not as quick at removing fasteners at torqued down relatively hight (115+Ft lbs). It brought out the flywheel to crank bolts with ease (105ft lbs) and also torqued my transfer case yoke nuts to 130 no problem as well! Great product!

Great price for a good product

Used it now good number of times on my cars found it powerful and a good product. Buttery hold very well I've changed two sets of winter tires on my cars and still had three lights out of four lighting up. Charges fast enough to catch up with your next job. Fits in the hand well but bit heavy in the front kind of comparable with other models. Great value for the money. I am happy with it and recommended it for cumbersome and occasional heavy duty use.

Not much "nut busting" power

I bought this to change my wheels over to my winter tires. The tires on the car were accurately torqued to 100 ft.lb by me. This would only remove about 6 of the 20. In no way would accept that this has " nut busting" power.
