not so pleased
the hose plugged up mid way through the summer. It could not keep up in my garden, I had to water with ditches

Great if you cover it
As stated in other reviews this product does have tiny pinholes which shoot the water much further than you might have intended it to go. I make sure to cover it with mulch, compost, or even direct burial to soak roots directly depending on the application. I have this permanently installed in a raised bed with it at "root" level for strawberry's and it's working great. I am also using this in a couple of long rows for melons slightly buried under compost, again working great. I've also used this in rows for growing lettuce, onions, carrots, and many other things and have had much success. One tip: If you are having issues getting an "even" soak across a particularly long run, close the loop by providing pressure from both ends of the soaker hose. This works great for me on even really long runs (35+ ft)

More porous than expected
Bought to add to our existing Orbt garden kit. Good quality rubber. Can be easily bent to form around plants. Fits stakes well - pinches in at the very top of the V in the stake. Very porous. Will take far less time to soak our garden than our original Orbit kit. However it seems to have systematically located pin holes which spray a fair amount of water causing puddles to form quickly and misdirected spray. Where it does seep it does so well. So good that I have to replace our original Orbit 1/4" tubing with this new tubing because the garden is flooding where the new tubing is before the old tubing does much good. Still a good product and would buy again. Possibly consider staking this hose slightly above the dirt rather than laying in it.

Dissapointing and hindered the garden
Hope no one bought this cuz of my initial review that praised it, because after I used it all summer, I realized that it was not working near as well as my other soaker hoses and I have some dried up patches. Jeorpardized alot of my garden. I am used to not using soaker hose in straight lines...I like to bend it around places. I am hoping that I can try using it next year only in straight lineswith more success, but I really don't think that it will make a difference. It is harder and less porous than what I usually use for success. Bummer..... may have to take the loss and toss it. I should have been less frugal and spent more for better product.

Works in my vegetable boxes
I have one tube running down each row in my vegetable boxes. Seems to be working well for that. The water pressure is regulated down to 30 psi. Lower would be better but the regulator is built into the valve and I am too cheap/lazy to add another inline regulator.

Too much and not enough
This did not work for me in my raised bed vegetable garden. First attempt was 2, 8’ lines. Water pours out of the first two feet and by the 8th foot, bone dry. 2nd attempt: I cut the lines down to 4’ each but still have the same problem too much water at the beginning and not enough at the end.

A porous hose.....
It arrived quickly. I did not measure it nor did I care if it was exactly 100 feet. It works well for bubbleponic air diffusion and slow top feed drip lines. I use heavy washers to weigh it down. Cheaper than replacing airstones and works very well. I can also design for a larger area of bubbles using a grid pattern, descending circles, coiling, etc. It works best with pumps that have a higher air flow. I like a lot of bubbles. You can easily punch more holes in it if needed. It is cheap. It is good for use in outdoor passive drip systems. It is cheap enough to always use new tubing.

Breaks if you look at it
This hose is NOT durable and is WAY too easy to break. In fact, you don't need to use a scissors to cut it. You just bend it a little and it breaks off. Like the other reviews, I found that its radial flow is WAY too high. Axial flow is starved even after a foot.

Brittle and inconsistent flow
This product came coiled in a bowtie style loop. Straightening the hose caused it to break in many places. It was very brittle. Portions that i did manage to salvage (because I needed some ASAP) had very heavy flow in the first 14" then almost nothing after that. Very poor product. Was I sent very old stock or is it built to this poor standard? I sent it back and asked for a refund. Not a replacement.

IT'S SPRINKLER HOSE - GPM TOO MUCH
I have this on a 25psi regulator with three 4' pcs branched off a 1/2 line. Each 4ft pcs has 1 or 2 setions about 3" - 4" long with jets of water spraying 12"- 18". The GPM is higher than the 5/8" soaker hose I use.

The tubing did not work!
The tubing was stiff and broke when bent. It did not spread water evenly, alot came out at the inlet and none further down the hose. I had to throw it out and replace with other materials.

doesn't drip past 3 feet.
water only trickles out to about 3', 1 meter, point then nothing. Orbits original tubing, about 2-3 years ago worked great. Must be an new design. Would not recommend it.
