With Poulan Pro PP133

The suggested trimmer line for my Poulan Pro PP133 string trimmer is .115" diameter line. That is too thin. The line regularly pulls out of the head and is tossed away and lost. It won't fit snugly in the head assembly's ferrules. The pre-cut lengths of yellow, .115" diameter line that are available for my PP133 in stores and online are much, much less durable than this standard Gatorline, (.130 trimmer line). For the price, this Gatorline is a good deal for me. It installs into the head easily and stays in more readily even when I hit something that would yank out the .115 line. Next I'm going to try an Oregon product at .135 as some have suggested that is the optimal diameter for the PP133. Buying in bulk, the 17" long strands that you will cut as you install your own lengths of gatorline are much, much cheaper and last much longer and do more work in the same amount of time. Clumps of grass growing out of the sidewalk cracks are taken down much, much quicker and the string lasts much longer when working as the line comes into contact with the concrete some of the time.

Oregon 69-177 Gatorlineround String Timmer Line, .130 Inch Diameter

I have never had problem using Oregon Trimmer lines. They are strong againgst grown grass, weeds, and other lawn challenges. Other lines are quicky consumed when trimming along concrete, bricks and decorative stones. This line holds up to the task. We have an acre lot, and I use a contractor-type trimmer to handle the trimming tasks. The line holds up exceedingly well. It reduces the mount of time I must spend re-stringing the trimer. Now, that is a time consumming task for me. Thus, I have replaced the trimmer head to accept the cut strips of the this trimmer line. The head accepts the strps of line, which are auomatically secured in place. The strips of line lasts equally as long as the coiled line, but are much easier to replace when needed. Either way, you can't go wrong, specially with the .130 diameter line by this manufacturer. Trim away.....and wear eye potection.

This stuff is ridged, heavy duty stuff, should get quite a bit of use out of it.

This line is top of the line.

I use this in a GrassGator 4 line head on my Cub Cadet straight shaft trimmer. On coarse grass and tough Pigweed it cuts like a blade and lasts MUCH longer than anything else I've tried. Will definitely buy again next season.

Weak Sauce

Stuff is weak sauce. Breaks way too easily. Plus side is the product doesn't cost too much but I guess I know why now.
