the belt does just what it's supposed to do, and does it just fine. so I like it . could not do without it.

It fits and works

Received the belt yesterday and had to wait until today to put it on the mower. It fit perfectly and works just like the original. Time will tell if it holds up as long, but it looks well made and should be okay. This mower is in its 13th mowing season and I've had to replace the deck belt a couple of times during that time. I may end up buying at least one more to have on hand when this one wears out. I'll post an update at the end of mowing season.

Sadly, not as advertised. NOT an exact replacement for MTD 954-0485

Does NOT fit a 2000 Troy-bilt 42" deck with manual PTO. Do not waste your money like I did. Spend the extra to buy genuine MTD 42" Deck Drive Belt.
