Nice replacement for the S62 version.
If you, like me, wanted to know the difference between this chain, and the retail Oregon S62 version that they sell in the stores, I have found a few "minor" differences, but, for the most part, are the same. When you see S62, from what I read, S just means that it is retail.. 62 is the number of links in the chain. The differences between the S62 (retail) version, and the 91PX062G (non retail) version are.. The S62 version comes in plastic packaging, has a link in it with the "S62" number on it, so you can remember which chain number to buy (this chain is usually gold in color), and costs more.. The 91PX062G model comes in a cardboard box, does not have that link with the model number on it, and is cheaper.. That is the only real differences I have noticed. I compared my old chain (many years old), and found that they have changed the design slightly over the years.. The non cutting link used to have a high spot on it, and that was removed, and a plain square link with no high spot replaced it.. I looked at the retail version, and the OEM "91PX062G " version, and both have the same non cutting link. If you have an old chain that has that, this one will work fine as a new replacement. Also, if you look at the pictures, my old one was sharpened multiple times, that is why it is more worn, and the cutting edge is smaller.. As for keeping the cutting edge. I immediately put this on, and cut up some wood.. It was used to cut some maple tree logs that were freshly cut, and were 10 to 12 inches in diameter.. I am guessing closer to 12". But, that log was cut cleanly though in 6 places, plus, some other stuff that was smaller, and it is still cutting as good as when I first put it on. The file needed to sharpen this chain is a 5/32", or, 4.0 mm 30 degree angle. This chain has a chamfer chisel design. It is the middle one in the picture of the back of the box. So far, no complaints.. I am including some photos so you can see the boxes, the info on the box, and, a comparison from their "old" version, to what they sell now.

Sharp out of package
The fit was perfect on my Craftsman 18" chainsaw, and the cutting edges were so sharp that it made me go back and change my sharpening tool (because my older chain, which I'd sharpened myself multiple times, was nowhere near this sharp!).

A good replacement
Have used it as a replacement for the original Sears 18 inch chain and it seems to work as well, or better, than the original. Have only had it for about a month so have no idea as to longevity.

Replacement for Ego AC1800 Saw - works great
Oregon makes the OEM chain blades for the Ego Chainsaws - this is the Oregon branded blade for the 18" bar AC1800 Ego saw - it's $10 cheaper than the Ego branded version. Shipping was next day through Prime - quick install and ready to go. Didn't want to spend an hour sharpening the OEM blade (and buying a kit). For $17, why not just buy a new blade.

Sharp!
Bought a brand new Kobalt 80 volt chainsaw on eBay brand new in the box. Would not cut. Would get into the log and get stuck. Chain seemed pretty sharp and it was new. Out of frustration I bought this chain and wow it is razor sharp and thinner then the stock chain and on this saw it tore through a 10 inch limb like it was butter. Very impressive. Looks like the stock Kobalt chain sucks. Not sure how long this razor sharp will last but if you have a Kobalt 80 volt chainsaw buy this chain now. It will blow your mind how much better it is.

Great cutting chain
I bought this for my Stihl MS211 with an 18” bar. With this chain, it cuts better now than with the new Stihl chain. I’ve been told by a few people that Oregon chains were the best and cost less. So for about 1/2 the price, I’ll be buying Oregon chains from now on, it cut great.

An absolute need for inexpensive chainsaws
I have a Homelite 18" 42cc chainsaw I got for free, came with the stock chain that badly needed sharpening. After sharpening the chain I wasn't impressed with the cutting quality and speed. I have always known that Oregon makes top notch replacement chains so I decided to purchase this to install on this saw. Absolutely amazed by how much better the saw performs and hardly bogs down now. If you have a cheap no-name saw you need to pick up a quality chain from Oregon, it will make a huge difference!
