Beautiful and well made

I bought this one initially because I liked the sun and moon complication, and I saw a picture of someone wearing it with an olive green nato strap and loved the look. I didn't care for the leather strap it came with, so I haven't used that one yet, but I probably will try it for more of a dressy look. When I initially got this watch I didn't really love it, and it sat for a few weeks before I actually wore it. I even debated returning it. What finally made me love this watch was realizing that with the nato watch it has this old archeologist/explorer/traveler vibe that I really like now with the right outfit. Very happy with it!

Best budget watch

I have never had an orient watch before. This watch feels and performs like a watch much more expensive than three hundred dollars. Can’t recommend orient enough

Beautiful watch and the black or blue ones are easy to read

UPDATE: After a full month, this watch is only 76 seconds off. That's better than any other automatic watch in that price range I've owned. I own two other automatic Orients (one that's a Rolex day/date homage) and they both gain about 5 mins a week. Beautiful piece, and the photo doesn't do it justice. Its beauty leaps out at you in 3D when you actually wear it, because there are five levels on the face: the minute hand; the hour hands; below them the main dial; next below are moonface and daytime dial, and a fifth level, the date indicator, is quite deep down . I have the blue one, and the hands are easy to read with gorgeous white contrast. I was lucky to get this watch at $290 before tax on 12/07/22. Amazon's pricing tends to vary day by day, but today, 02/17/23, it's the same price as it was when I checked it in Dec: $361.

I love it. For those of us with poor eye sight, this watch is very clear. I don't even need my reading glasses to read the different complications. A great watch!

Absolutely stunning, must have in your collection!

The media could not be loaded. Model: RA-AK0011D10B (Blue dial Sun and Moon V3, 2017 design) This watch is superb and is my new favourite. I already own a blue Orient Bambino Open Heart, and the dial readability is way superior on the Sun and Moon. I did not wear the watch with it's original band at all; I switched immediately to my silicon band after unboxing. It's way more comfortable and resistant than leather. TIPS: - Date/day change TL;DR: know that you must set the time to 6:00 *BEFORE* making any date/day adjustment (second step-pull on the crown). If you change the date/day between 8PM and 4AM, you risk chipping jewels and misalignment will occur. - Amazon is an Orient authorized dealer, so warranty is valid as long as you buy "Ships from *AND* sold by Amazon" (see Orient website for more info) - Do yourself a favour, buy a more comfortable band as well if you plan everyday use - Looking at Orient's website using "Wayback machine" indicates that the discounted price has been going on for at least September 2021 (270USD) - This watch comes with a clasp, and it is normal for the strap with the buckle to be at the bottom of the watch. - The 4 o'clock position denoted "IIII" is not an error. Google on roman clock numerals to know more. - There is a general recommendation to service a mechanical watch after 5-7 years. Costs savvy, it might not be worth getting it done POSITIVES: - Crystal Sapphire for scratch resistance - This watch is water resistant at 5bar which is the very minimum you should look for IMO - Looks more expensive than it is, beautiful complications on the dial - Easy to read; the blue dial contrasts very well with the white hands, way better than the Bambino - Beautiful complications, gold reflective sun and moon - Good time keeping (+10 seconds per day deviation for me - YMMV) NEGATIVES: - Heavy, thick and big - The crocodile leather band feels plastic. My Bambino's band looks way much better besides it - Orient produce a limited quantity of serviceable parts; repair ability outside of the warranty period is uncertain - No luminescence; I was aware of that - Questionable "Tuesday" disposition - Weird upside down roman numeral disposition; the white version disposition looks far better for me - I've read that the band clasp digs inside the skin and is uncomfortable. I didn't use it so I cannot, nor will confirm that All in all, this is now my preferred daily driver watch for work and I recommend you to buy it if you hesitate. I'm really being picky on some negatives. -= Unboxing video shows the watch with the original band. Other pictures depict my band mod using a silicon Barton black on yellow quick release 22mm band =-

Excelente pero la cuerda no dura mucho

Si vas a usar del diario este reloj probablmnte no tengas ningun inconvenientes por la maquinaria de cuerda automática tienes que moverlo constantemente. De lo contrario cada que te lo pongas tendrás que ajustar la fecha y posiblemente la hora pies la falta de uso hace que se le acabe la cuerda. Otros buenos relojes la cuerda dura más incluso semanas. En lo personal no me afecta lo anterior pues el reloj vale lo que es. Un reloj de calidad con componentes buenos, esta pesadito y se siente muy bien. Por 300 dolares estoy satisfecho. El reloj tiene un diseño discreto no es algo que llame la atención, no es muy grande de tamaño visiblemente, tamaño mediano y elegante. simplemente es el gusto personal de traerlo puesto. Viene en caja sencilla negra, me llego nuevo con sus plásticos y etiquetas. El color azul qué me pedí en correa a lo lejos parece casi negro pero Tampoco representa un problema. Si es tu primer reloj mecanico te recomiendo leas el instructivo. Saludos!

Que du positif

La montre est superbe. Il n'y a pas de problème avec le bracelet, quoique plusieurs ne l'aiment pas. Il faut changer l'heure à 6:00pm et ajuster le jour et la date. Une fois que c'est fait, on revient à l'heure de la journée et tout est bien synchronisé. Je ne sais pas si c'est le seul moyen, mais cela a fonctionné dans mon cas. La montre n'est pas lourde du tout et elle est vraiment belle. Je n'ai pas de point négatif à rapporter.

Elegante y precioso

El reloj por si solo está muy bello. El único detalle es que tuve que comprar en dos ocasiones el reloj debido a que la primera vez que lo compré venía defectuoso. Para esta segunda ocasión el reloj llegó en perfectas condiciones salvo el cobertor de la caja que venía muy maltratada, pero el reloj en condiciones perfectas.
