Nice and sturdy

Bought this to replace our old rusting metal spatula. Great to use with our cast iron pan. Used several times since purchased and it looks as good as the day it was delivered.

No beveled edge at the front

There is no beveled edge at the front. I have not yet used it, but suspect that this flaw will be an issue for cooking certain recipes.

Everything is perfect for using with my heavy stainless frypans

I have All Clad and other heavy weight fry pans. The soft flippers made for non-stick pans just don't work well. This is perfect. I trashed my cheaper version after I got this. You can get right down to the bottom of the pan or flip heavy foods without any fear of it bending. It makes cooking so much easier when you have the right tools. I also love it is all one solid piece so there is nothing to work its way loose, or get full of water in the dishwasher. It will get hot so you will want a silicone handle pad or remember to grab a hot pad if it has been sitting in the pan. But I'll never need to purchase another one in my lifetime I am quite certain.

Super loud

After going through a couple of cheaper spatulas I finally decided to get the meta one. It’s super sturdy but so loud. I use it with 10 inch pan.

All-Clad Service Ware - Small Turner/Spatula

Update 8.15.21 I didn't read the origin: Made in China. This product is not a durable as my older All-Clad stainless utensils. It scratches easily, dents, too thick for flipping. 8.20/14 Who doesn't love the quality of All-Clad. I had over 20+ pieces of All-Clad service ware from my wedding (circa 1989). They stayed the test of time and continued to look great. The quality of All-Clad is unmatched. However, after unpacking in our new home, I noticed that all of my All-Clad ware was missing along with other items. All of the flatware and service containers were missing. To repurchase these items would cost a small fortune. Many of these larger service pieces are discontinued at this original size. All-Clad makes a smaller version of these items, but they're not quite the same. This was an exceptional find. I am slowly rebuilding my collection.

Quality Tool!

This turner is beautiful, high quality stainless steel. it has a nice weight in the hand and will last for many years of use. The lack of "taper" in the turner head caused me to deduct one star. I will likely have my husband grind the leading edge to allow it to go under the food a bid more easily, New, right out of the packaging, the edge is blunt. Some other reviewers noted this, and if you don't have a grinder or a handy husband, it might be better to go with a different turner. After reading some other reviews, the flexible fish turner or one of the larger solid or slotted turners might be better.

Excellent quality

I am rarely impressed with…. kitchen utensils, however this is a thick, sturdy, easy to use and clean turner. They say it’s safe for dishwasher, but I personally prefer to hand wash once I am done using it. I have a carbon steel frying pan and a stainless steel sauté pan (18/10). The stainless steel turner is a must for these two. I’ve decided to slowly “ clean” my kitchen of chemically treated non stick pots and pans ( price is one of the reasons for why slowly) and I believe safe and good quality accessories are a must. The turner I purchased was advertised as an “used” one, however I believe no one actually used it. When I received it, it looked like new, no signs or scratches indicating any minor usage. Someone purchased and probably returned it, so to me it was as good as the new one (which was almost twice the price). I am happy with this little guy which looks like will last a lifetime and more, the type of kitchen tools that you leave to your kids.

Excellent Quality with the spoon end a nice thickness and the handle is very thick. In spite of this it was almost completely flat, with the spoon end flat on the counter the tip of the handle was less than an inch off the counter. I bent it some but it is so thick I really had to force to bend it, even a little, using leverage. Not so much as a hint of a stress mark, where I bent it, shows the quality. This will last a long time - if it's angle is useful.

One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon

One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon! It has a nice feel to it - the weight is there, but is well-balanced in your hand and not too heavy at all. The actual turning and sliding functions work amazingly, having this in the kitchen for pan cooking is great. It has yet to get scratched up at all, and is holding up fantastically. Definitely a quality purchase worth the price. We've had it for a few months and absolutely love it.
