Love love love
After trying the Tekaya model which failed miserably we were really happy with this design. It is easy to use and the flavor is amazing if you follow instructions and let it sit 12-24 hours.

Does a good job but they're incredibly overpriced.
These filter do a good job but they're unbelievably expensive. I can't understand how 50 small disc filters can cost this much yet a 500 pack of aeropress filters (same thing but actually slightly bigger) cost like twice the price for 10 times the amount. I have tried using aeropress filters and while they're a little bigger they still work just fine. I bought something like 500 aeropress filters for around $10.

Helps reduce sediment
I went ahead and bought some of these to see if they would fit in the mini cold brew system, even though they are not officially recommended for it. It turns out that they fit perfectly! It's nice enough in that adding the filter underneath the mesh disk reduces the amount of sediment that accumulates in cold brew concentrate, but it makes the cold brew drain take noticeably longer and it doesn't affect the flavor at all. I don't see the sediment as too big of a deal, so I don't know if I would get these again. That said, you get a decent amount for five bucks and they are perfectly adequate at what they do.

Glad I bought these filters.
The OXO paper filters are great from keeping coffee grounds going through , eleven though the cold brew coffee maker comes with its own mesh filter, the paper filters are an added plus.

Perfect cold brew
For one person this makes perfect sized batches that last 3-4 days. Final product come out clean and free of grit or fine grounds. The extra paper filters are not necessary.
