The Citrine Color is Gorgeous!

I have several insulated water bottles from the name brand that begins with a Y. Because I carry one around with me all day long, every single day. One of the things that annoys me about the other brand's 24oz bottle is that it doesn't fit into most cupholders. Whereas this OXO one does! It's also nice that the straw lid is included! This bottle keeps my water cold all day long just like my other ones, I really haven't noticed a difference between them. The only thing that I don't like, which is the same for the other brand, is that the mouth piece/straw is always exposed. It would be kind of nice if it was covered by a flip top or something.

The bottle serves its purpose. I use it for water only... It's a little hard to open the straw but it's fine. I'm satisfied with the product.

Sturdy and Good with Cold

I have been using this with cold drinks and it does keep them cold. I have not tried with anything hot. I love the skinny size but that it still holds 24 ounces. I do wish it had a handle or way to carry the bottle easily. The bottle does look nice though and fits in my car cup holder.

Mouth piece is difficult to open and close

I like almost everything about this OXO Strive 24oz Wide Mouth Water Bottle with Straw Lid, key word almost. The only thing I dislike is how stiff and hard it is to open and close the mouth piece. I had hoped that it would get looser and easier with use but it unfortunately hasn’t. Originally I got this for my 10 year old for school, but due to the difficulty opening and closing the drinking mouth piece I ended up having to keep it for myself. That being said, it is a really nice water bottle other than the issue mentioned. It keeps water very cold for a really long time. And it’s nice and heavy duty and should last a long time with proper care.

Easy to carry

OXO Strive 24oz Wide Mouth Water Bottle with Straw Lid - Amethyst It fits in my vehicles cup holder with ease The bottle is narrow enough that carrying is not an issue, even with smaller hands No issues with holding ice or keeping my water cold even overnight I did not run into any problems with the straw spurting water out when opening the spout while using the water bottle The lid is secure, as is the spout closure. Even when turning the bottle completely upside down, no liquid leaked out of the bottle. The only downside I have found is that it does not fit within the fridge's automatic ice and water system.

love the slimness of the bottle, and its easy to load with ice, but...

I like the easy to grip slim design and with the wide mouth it makes it easy to clean and put ice in. If you fill it up with ice it will keep ice all day. Easily comes apart for quick cleaning. One big con is that there is no handle, one other issue with the length is that it has a hard time staying in the side pouch of a backpack.

Good performance and easy-to-use straw

OXO has a habit of over engineering lids, IMO. The last OXO water bottle I tried was horrible, only because of the lid. They got it right with the Strive's straw lid. The flip top is easy to open and close while staying leak-free. The lid kit I have for small mouth Hydro Flasks is awful. Interestingly, both brands are owned by the same company. The OXO definitely works great with water and ice. Since it's only a 16oz bottle, I usually drink most of it before it has a chance to get warm, but even after a couple of hours, it stays ice cold. I like the smaller size for the car and travel. The color choices are great too. The only thing I would add is a silicone bottom.
