Love it, but not the best design

Love it, great for roasting larg quantities of coffee and food. However, It's so hard to get it to open and close. Hate it, especially when it's hot to handle.

Ok I simply love this product. Easy to use but it states it's non-stick and shrimp stuck.

Because the shrimp stuck to it cleaning was a bit of a hassle.

Faulty closing mechanism

The latch system to close the basket is really poorly designed. It has a small cheap spring that is hidden behind the latch - super hard to operate when the basket is hot, and it fails frequently, causing the basket to open and dump your food into the grill. Was like this out of the box. The mechanism for securing the basket to the rotisserie spit is also problematic, and one side failed within 3 uses. Would look elsewhere for a rotisserie basket.

Doesn’t measure up to expectations

Seems to be built well enough; basket latch difficult to operate especially with heat/grill gloves on; difficult to clean and dishwasher is not an option according to manufacturer; locking mechanism to adapt to smaller rotisserie rod is poor; would return if packaging available still but…currently in process of reaching out to manufacturer for options available. Still in market for the next basket that’ll work the way it is expected.

Insert Adapaters cannot be removed (Cage)

I bought this because the description says will fit a 5/8 or 5/16 spit rod and adapters are provided. The instruction manual shows how to insert the rod adapters depending on your size spit. I need to use this without the inserted adapters. I received the rotisserie cage with the adapters already inserted even though the instruction manual clearly shows the consumer will insert the adapters. (if needed) Because they have already been inserted, it is impossible to remove them. Tried everything but they do not come out. So I have returned it since I cannot get it on my spit rod, because I need to use it without the adapters.

Really expected far better given the price

The 2 halves are mismatched and leave about 1/4" gap at the rotisserie bar. Also the latch is horrible. There's a minuscule button that's well hidden behind the latch you have to push to release things. Once released, the latch wobbles back and forth a good inch or so. It looks and feels as if it would break off completely with use. Overall, very disappointed as I do a lot of BBQ and love rotisserie chicken and other things on the BGE. For near 70 bucks, this item should have been of really high quality and it just was not.

Having bought into the Everdure by Heston Blumenthal (EHB) systems (4K, Fusion and preparation unit), I bought the tumbler (to re-create the prawn & tomato panzanella dish on his YouTube). Sourced all the ingredients and then saw how the video is only a list of ingredients and a sequence, not really a recipe. OK, I thought, I will give it my best attempt. Can you imagine my annoyance and frustration? On the very first use, I opened and closed the tumbler for the bread. Again for the tomatoes. Opened for some amazing prawns and BANG when I tried to close to cook! I cannot decide if this is sub-standard design or sub-standard manufacturing. The clip detached, firing the bolt and spring into the fire bed. Even after trying to remove these parts from the fire, there was no way to fix the clip. Cooking stops! I could have let the tumbler turn, but then everything is in the charcoals. So frustrating to not eat; to waste very good ingredients; not learn if my timings are successful in re-creating what was shown on YouTube (heavily edited & without timings). As I bought this some time before, my Amazon return window is closed. WHILE I LIKE THE EHB SYSTEM, THIS ITEM SEEMS TO BE A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! AVOID!
