Fit like BDUs...
Not sure yet if I'll keep these. They don't fit well, but that's because they're BDUs. They fit just like BDUs, so each size fits a wide range of measurements. In my case, I'm about a 32 waist, which means I have to get a Medium. Medium is meant to fit 31-35. So it will be big and baggy on me, but I can't get a Small because it's too small. Also, the 'knee pad' of doubled reinforced fabric is too low for me, just like BDUs. It's more of a shin pad, and barely reaches above my knee. This is a problem because my BDUs always tend to fall apart just above the reinforced area. You might say it's because I'm too short to wear 'regular' length, but interestingly, at the same time I ordered these, I also got a woodland camo (just like the military issue summer weight) in medium - short. And the reinforced part is even lower, and doesn't even come up to my knee! Not sure who designed these, but it's not helpful. All that being said, these Tru-specs are called BDUs so I can't hold it against them if they fit like BDUs... I got them because I needed work pants, and they would probably be good for that. But they are expensive, I have since found cheaper options. If those are ok, I'll send the Tru-specs back. Anyway... The material is heavier than I expected (thicker than summer weight BDUs), and since I got these for mechanic / carpentry / farm work, etc, that's a good thing. They seem well put together, but they're somewhat stiff (might soften up once washed) and not particularly comfortable (compared to military summer bdus that feel like pajamas). As mentioned, very baggy and loose fitting for me, and if you've ever worn BDUs you know they don't look like normal pants anyway. You probably wouldn't want to wear these pants in casual settings. If I could have gotten them for $20-25 I would consider them a good option for work pants. ------ update: I'm done with BDUs... I found LA Police Gear pants and like them a lot: LA Police Gear Urban Recon Pant OD Green-32 x 30 These particular ones are all cotton, fit well, are comfortable, and cheaper. Plus they can be worn as casual pants. But this company also makes other pants like BDUs, cotton / poly mixed pants, etc in different designs and are cheaper than these other brands. I would suggest going to their website at lapolicegear dot com for better deals and prices.

The luck of the draw!
I bought three pairs of these pants and they are all very different! They were all the same size waist and length and they were all different sizes. I fixed that with a hem job but the part that gets me is all the pockets are sewn different. That secondary pocket meant for a flashlight or a pocket knife is completely useless on one pair. And all three pairs This particular pocket is either sewn way too loose or way too tight. I really feel like I'm Goldilocks and the Three bears! Only one of the pairs of pants is acceptable The other two not so much! Threads are coming apart velcro is coming apart and the cargo pockets are worthless. The flap is sewn at such an angle that it makes it impossible to open one handed. Frustrating to say the least and had I not got all three pairs hemmed at the tailor I would have definitely returned them! It's insane to me that they all say they were manufactured and the same place of origin but one pair is straight legged and the other two look like MC Hammer pants! I dodged a bullet with these because I'm currently on the night shift and I'm the sole officer on post. Had it been a day shift these pants would have been too ridiculous to wear and would never have met department requirements! If you're reading this and you're wondering what size waist go down a few sizes. They expand real wide. I ordered two full sizes down and they're still way too big! These are not the True spec of yesterday and embarrassing to say the least. These are very hit or miss you're taking your chances.

Runs a little longer than Propper.
These are nice medium weight quality as you can see in picture 2. When trying them on, I observed that, had I ordered these in a regular length, they would’ve been too long. They are slightly baggier than the Propper version but that’s okay. I really should write back in a few months to update this review on wear and tear and fade but more than likely, I will not.

Back pocket opening is smaller than the pocket itself
Bought 5 pair to wear for work as a refrigeration mechanic. Only problem I have is the back pocket opening is smaller than the pocket itself. Makes wallet removal difficult ( may be a good thing though ). Other than that they are comfortable and seem to hold up. I’ll buy these same pants when it’s time to replace.

It has 4 buttons instead of zipper.
Very nice pair of pants. My fault I missed on the description that instead of a zipper it has 4 buttons well that is the stupidest idea ever. But my fault for not reading the description. I will have to sew on a zipper. The pants fits nice and is comfortable. The only thing again is the 4 buttons instead of zipper. How stupid is that?!

the buttons all fit fine and the length is great for my 5'4 height
I'm naturally a 36-38 waist and with these I bought the large which said it was for a 38 waist size, the buttons all fit fine and the length is great for my 5'4 height, but the top button is incredibly difficult and tight. That is with the sides being as loose as they can be. I ordered a second pair, and the same issue with the button.

Well made pants.
Good fit and length. This is the second pair I own. Order them a little big because they do shrink in the wash. I find BDU's mor comfortable than most pants, and much tougher. The single color is nice. I feel it looks more professional I in an urban/suburban environment.

Order a size up from your normal pant size for waist
My normal pant size is actually 34-30 which is medium short when you check the sizes on Tru-Spec website. But I found that the pants on my actual waist were way too tight and so I had to exchange the pants. I'm 5'7 and 200lbs for reference in this image and I'm wearing the large short which is 35-39 inches waist and 30 inseam. I do find it awkward to often order clothing due to my awkward proportions so I'm appreciative of the fact that they do have different sizes for heights and pant inseam length. However despite that I still find these pants still a bit too long for me, I assume that it is most likely going to be fine if I were wearing boots and tucking them in or blousing them. Note there are draw tabs on the back side of the waist that is meant to be used to tighten around your waist and also draw tabs under the pants of the bottom hem to tighten it. If you wanted to wear a belt and tighten the tabs, and I assume wear the pants as they're meant to be made you should order a size up. I haven't actually worn these pants out yet so I am unsure of the quality. However I assume that Tru-Spec in some ways is a reputable brand for this type or style of clothing.

Excelente calidad, seguramente duraran mucho tiempo
