Not 100% but still great pants
Great for a firefighter or ems but aren't water resistant as I thought that were supposed to be.

I chose these pants because they had the pockets I needed and space, without looking so flashy. My ambulance company kind of puts down anything that looks remotely try-hard. Often people just buy navy blue dickies and call it good. These do the job without hearing grumbles from the "salty" folks. The only issue I've had was these were both longer and wider than I expected. As a result, I spent nearly the cost of the pants having them hemmed and taken in - which also meant I had to take in the leg opening too as I could have made a solid parachute out of them. Since the waist is already so stretchy, my advice to you guys is to order a size or two smaller than you would normally expect. I have found over time with Propper products that the sizes are not universal amongst all their products. For instance, you can go from the BDU pants to the Tac light pants to the EMS pants and no pant will fit the same way in the same size (I've bought all three).

Oversized
The pants I ordered were significantly oversize. I'd order next size down.

Too many pockets is not always a good thing.
I pretty much love these pants. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - They are comfortable to wear. - The colour is a true navy blue. - It has a belt. - It has many pockets to put things in. - The pen holder is great Cons: - I feel the pockets are somewhat excessive. It claims to have 17 pockets. They don't mention that most of the pockets are compartments within a pocket. This makes the 2 side pockets gigantic. I stood facing my front door and spent 3 minutes looking for my house key in all of the "pockets". Turns out they were in my car the whole time. I am rather forgetful - Not sure why I need trauma sheers on both my left and right side.

Sizes are not accurate.
Sizes are not accurate and the fit is uncomfortable.

Good but needs improvement
These are well made and sturdy. They are a little heavy to be worm year round though. Propper put some thought into the design of the pockets...there's velcro everywhere! But the velcro on the back pockets is really annoying. Also there is a pocket on the right-front of the pant between the zipper and the normal pocket which seems to have no purpose whatsoever.

Good choice if price is your main concern.
If you want quality over cost, stick with 5.11. The fabric is thin leaving me uncertain how well it will stand up to use. The cut is past "relaxed" and into "baggy" but I think if I order one waist size smaller that should improve. I started buying Propper while deployed as an EMS contractor in Kuwait/Iraq/UAE and I've always been happy with the cut and durability. These pants may be a "one off" as the Brits say.
