Always have light

The built in light is the best feature

Is a good light beanie

Is not the best but is not the worse. My only issue is a bit too short so it doesn’t read cover my ears fully. But is a little too wide also . It does feel comfortable and warm enough but again my ears are not fully cover ! I work outside and a good gust of wind can easy knock it or light breeze also. Light Works great !

Small cap, nice light

The cap is well made, soft and nicely lined. However, it will not fit anyone who might need a size large hat. It is fine for children and petite adults. The light is bright and works well enough to take the dog out at night.

Bright enough when I’mWalking my dog

Looks to be bright enough when walking my dog. We have already ordered a second one for another family member when she feeds her animals at night and needs her hands to be free

Well made and works great. However, the hat itself could be a bit more warm and cozy.

I have purchased two Panther Vision Powercaps and two HomeBeck LED beanies. Although outwardly similar, there are some significant differences between them. The HomeBeck is a nicer hat, but as far as the electrical system components and ease-of-use, the Powercap is definitely on top. As a hat, the HomeBeck LED Beanie is wonderful. It's much nicer feeling than the Powercap. The Powercap is a little stiffer and loose fitting, and since it's a knit inside and out it feels slippery. It's cool when first put on, and tends to slide around and upward, especially on long hair. The HomeBeck fits better, it has soft, warm fleece on the inside, and stays in place when worn. The switch mechanism is where the Powercap wins out, hands down. Powercap uses an easy-to-feel flat click switch, whereas the HomeBeck beanie uses a teensy weensy little toggle switch. I actually had to slide the fabric back to see the switch/battery mechanism to be able to turn it on the first time with the HomeBeck. Powercap has a little sticker showing where the switch is located, but even without the sticker it's identifiable, and feels solid when clicking on and off. Both the HomeBeck and Powercap put out great light considering there are just 4 LEDs. Don't expect the brightness of a tactical flashlight, and they're not as bright as having an actual headlamp; but the amount of light is more than adequate, and you don't have some big thing flopping around on the front of your head. I was wandering around the house in the dark with them both, alternating which one I wore to determine which was preferable. They both did the job nicely. The Powercap might be a little more concentrated of a beam, while the HomeBeck's beam is wider. My boyfriend wore his hat for work and said it was excellent for working in unlit places while doing plumbing and electrical work. One thing I noticed is that when looking at and talking to someone else wearing one of the beanies, the HomeBeck blinded me less often than the Powercap did. Maybe it's the angle of the LED's? If the Powercap were just a little bit more cozy of a hat, it would easily be a five star.

Best toque for shedding light when doing outdoor activities or in door work in dark places!

Although the colour is a bit bright, it is a great toque! The lights are bright and I can easily see ahead of me when walking the dog. It is been the best hat for outdoor living I have ever owned. It is very easy to turn on and off - great hat to wear when running in the dark or doing work in dark places. Light material is warm and does block wind. Thank you. I will definitely buy another.
