Good gun

The cartridge will go thru the cartridge holder bc it way bigger. I'm going to change one of older cartridge holders to this gun and it should fix the problem.

Experienced DIY'r and this is a sturdy tool

I know my way around tools and this was a nice tradeoff of robustness and cost. Definately sturdy enough for any job I could forsee.

PPM-50 Dispensing Gun-50 ml Size

This is a very good product, but you must use the Epoxy within the 15 minutes. If the Epoxy is not used in 15 minutes the hardening will cause the spotweld to put too much pressure on the gun and it will burst apart. This was my experience 2 weeks ago. Better warning should be on the gun and instructions. I was able to have gun spotwelded and have used it with good results.

Flaming hunk of crap.

I thought I'd spring and buy a model with mostly metal internals... Nope, not enough to make it good. Broke utterly on the first use. I didn't even get the epoxy out of the swizzle stick before the handle violently popped and was stuck halfway back. It then wouldn't release the tube so I used a screwdriver to force the thing to give up the pressure rods and remove the tube. I took it apart forced the pump arm back behind the handle (which is what popped ) and I managed to get it to work except that it wasn't capable of enough force to push the epoxy out of the tip without slipping. I maintain finicky million dollar equipment for a living and couldn't redeem this piece of crap. Since I purchased it 6 months ago, there's no returning it either. Not to mention the PLASTIC bit that ties the two pressure rods broke when I attempted to manually press them, followed by a violent rage that left the unit shattered on the floor. I also discarded the PC brand epoxy. F it, I'm sticking with 3M products, its just worth the cost.

Last one you'll buy

This unit is really well made, and should last a lifetime, maybe even longer. I have other dispensers, but somehow always gravitate toward this one. It's easier to load, and when you stop squeezing, there is less drip than with other units. Good price on amazon. I bought the premium unit pictured.
