Direct replacement for my original pool light assembly

Had an issue mounting into my original niche, then noticed the light housing clamp screw was hitting the side of the niche. I needed the screw on the left side (looking at it in the niche from the pool) of the light housing assembly for it to fit properly into the niche. Just make sure 50' power cord is long enough for your application. If unsure, pull your bad light, measure the old then order. Most of the time you wont have to worry about losing water with the light removed as the conduit is pvc and if done right is sealed up to the power connection which should be above the waterline of the pool. I tried to measure from the surface and the first light I ordered was about 18" to short. 50' for me was about 23' to long, but no other choice. Just cut to needed length.

Product arrived damaged

When I unpacked the pool light, the 400W Light bulb, inside the S/S housing, was BROKEN! The unit was double boxed and packed well but someone must have really dropped/thrown this box to break the bulb, Too much trouble to "return" and easier to just go out and buy a new bulb, which I did. The unit works well and easy install.

Fits Sunglow pool light

No problem with install. I am an electrician and do recommend having an electrician install. This light is 120v and if installed without the correct ground falt could cause electrical shock.

Plug and play.

Plug and play. Sturdy construction. Thick casing around the cord. Plenty of corddk the job. Worth the premium price.

Check bulb before installing

Light came with defective bulb. Installers spent 2x the labor installing and replacing bulb. Doubled my install cost and was overall a terrible experience, not to mention costly.
