Dog loves it!
Our 11 pound Yorkie/terrier mix was afraid of it at first. In a few days, his curiosity got the best of him…he began to sit and watch it but wouldn’t touch it. A few days later, he began guarding it…put it in his bed and acted like a hen guarding her eggs. Gradually, he began to play with it and now he’s all over the room, batting it and chasing it, then “buries” in his bed. The sounds from the ball are hilarious, and we all enjoy it. However, it is not a ball you would throw…the plastic case would not hold up, but has not been damaged by play. After several weeks, the internal battery is dying so I ordered a replacement…I don’t believe it has a replacement battery. Nevertheless, it is a source of great fun for our dog and the price is right.

Hilarious( and annoying!)
I got my dog the blue Babble Ball, which probably amused me as much as my dog. Then I took it a step further and ordered this one--and again, I'm laughing so hard at what's coming out of the ball, I'm trying not to get annoyed as it rolls under furniture and I have to dig it out for my Golden, who paws at the floor until I comply with his demands. This is SO FUNNY! The combination of things that come out of the ball are TOO MUCH! It would be great to take to adult cocktail parties and roll around!(kidding-sort of). I think you get the gist of my feelings! My dog AND I love it!!!

I loved this dog toy...
but my little dog is afraid of it. There is no way to turn down the volume and my dog won't even touch it. He seems interested so maybe he will come around. If so I will up date the four stars and give this toy five stars. Currently, I personally I am amused. But Buster, my dog, is not amused.

Wrapped in a sock and tied to a chair - PERFECT
I have 2 rat terriers and they love this toy - a little too much. Okay, a LOT too much. I read through the posts so I was prepared for how it operates. For my dogs, it's the sounds and not the motion that they love. So I wrapped the ball in a sock and put that sock inside the other sock. So the first sock protects the ball and blocks the motion sensor. The second sock (that's tied to the chair) means that Dottie (the destroyer) can't run off and damage it.

My Grandpups’ favorite ball
They love these so much, that I have purchased 2 for my home and the each have one for their respective homes! It’s so much fun to watch them play with these! Tip: If you have hardwood (flat surface) floors where the balls could easily roll under furniture and become a pain to retrieve, simply drop the ball into a long sock & tie it-eliminates most of the ball going under furniture.

A TINY HACK = 5 STAR multisensory dog doy for older dog
WATCHED MY 13 YR DOG TURN INTO A PUPPY AGAIN! (A simple hack that made much safer from a 2 star to 5 star with some puppy love & makes a perfect all sensory toy for older dogs) Please read for a 5 min diy hack using the babble ball to make the ULTIMATE DOG TOY UNDER $15. My dog is blind in 1 eye and loosing sight in the other. He is a 13 yr old min pin. I wanted a ball he could track by sound and still play catch. I was excited when the ball came but worried about its quality . This ball would break the first time you threw it, your dogs teeth or the ball :( (internal electronics and ball shell would even Crack on a non carpeted floor). I was going to return it until i saw my dogs ears at full attention wondering what new toy he got for xmas and what kind of owner would i be to deny that face and look of interest I rarely see from him. So i SIMPLY took a tennis ball made an X cut with an exacto knife as well as a few other small X cuts so the sound is amplified (speaker very low) . The small version fits perfectly inside the tennis ball and can now be a safe indoor ball that you can roll or toss and more durable for younger dogs. It has been a hit with all the neighborhood dogs (wish I got commission lol). NOW The ULTIMATE MULTISENSORY TOY USING THE BABBLE BALL!! If you want 2 go the extra step (I am glad I did I have not seen my dog play like this since he was a puppy plus he is 2 small 2 enjoy winter ). I had ordered the hertz bacon scented squeak ball and it's like cat nip for dogs until they destroy it. I also had a rubber ball that looks like the ever lasting godsmacker from willy Wonka that lights up when you hit it. So I took the babble ball which btw has hilarious sounds that really make your dog's want to interact with it. I took a hospital sock with the foot grips on the outside (when rolled it adds random movment from friction as well as easy for dog to grab. I placed the tennis/babble ball first, then the light up rubber ball, followed by the hertz bacon scented ball. I tied a knot in between each ball then added another sock for protection. I left room on both ends so toy could also be used for tug of war. This has been the best gift for my aging dog- not 2 mention his younger brother a min dashound . He is getting so much exercise, especially since it is winter, he even plays tug of war with his brother where they normally get jealous over toys always causing me 2 order 2 of the same toy lol but now they take turns for their favorite new toy. I will try and include pics and a video b/c I'm sure you love your dog as much as I do and with just a bit of effort and about $8 & an old pair of socks you will never see your dog instantly act so young again. Overall by itself this toy is what you get for the price I do wish the ball was a durable plastic or some sort of rubber coating. The best example I can give of the ball it self is a light hard plastic like a cheap kids toy solid but something you would tell your kid they need 2 play with careful and just roll on the floor something a dog doesn't understand . For the price it is a good toy you can make great. So a complex rating: 2 stars out of the box If you view as a part 2 a toy it's 5 stars all the way. 4 stars babble/tennis ball hack. 5 stars as part of an all sensory diy dog toy under $15.

Unfortunately, I liked this more than my dog
I was really hoping this would keep my overly needy dog busy. But, no such luck. I'm not sure if it was the plastic. that deterred him, but he wouldn't put it in his mouth or swat it with his nose or paws. Motion detection very sensitive

Great toy, but annoying
My dogs fav toy. I wish it had an OFF switch! My last one got stuck on one sound and then would never turn off. Didn't last long. So I had to order more. The pup is happy, that's all that matters.

Don't waist your money.
Got the ball because I thought it would be easier for my newly blind dog to play fetch again. The ball is made of hard plastic and not very appealing to my dogs. The cat was intrigued by it at most. Very disappointing product. You can basically only make it roll on the ground. Since it's hard plastic, your neighbours will hate you if you start throwing it around. And for dogs that like the ball, I don't see it lasting very long.

Great toy!
My chiweenie loves this toy, so much in fact that I have to take it away after an hour of play because she makes it "talk" non stop. Great toy!

Didn't work for my dog.
The product is exactly as described but my dog's interest in it lasted about 30 minutes and hasn't touched it since.

One of my 2 puppies liked it. It's a ball so of course
One of my 2 puppies liked it. It's a ball so of course, it rolls in sometimes difficult to reach places. And it's hard to find the majority of the time.
