Excellent water bottle!

I do a lot of hiking in areas where I have to use water from streams. I like this bottle because it is extremely lightweight. It is also easy to fill because it has a loop on the container, that is critical to me because a lot of the streams that I have to fill water from, I have to drop the container down by a string. The filters are also extremely easy to install and replace. The only reason I didn't give this a five star is because no directions came with it. I had to use my phone and look up how to put the filter into the bottle. If they made this particular bottle in a 32 oz I would buy it too.

I only gave this 3 starts because it was a little difficult to open the part where the filter goes in and after squeezing it so you can drink from it, it makes a squeaking noise

Does make noise

Bottle works as it describes. It does purify the water. I work in a kitchen so I bought 2. One to keep cold and the other to drink. If you drink fast from the bottle yes it will make a noise like a turkey call but that is just the air going back in the bottle. Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is there is absolutely no kind of insulation so the water warms very quickly.

Filter lid may be hard to remove

I bought 5 of these, and for 2 of them, the lid for the filter housing was extremely hard to remove. Ended up having to use a butter knife to pry them off. Also, the filter casing doesn’t detach from the lid as far as I can tell - although it looks like it does from the instruction photo. I haven’t used them yet, but wanted to mention the covers!

Portable, but leaky

Bought this for travel. I wanted a small version that was soft sided and you can squeeze it to squirt water rather than have a straw like contraption. It works, but when you squeeze it’s leaky. No problem on a workout, problem if you’re wearing a tie. I would like buy again.

Best purchase I've made

UPDATE: After months of use, this has turned into my best purchase. For the dribbling, just make sure not to overfill and to close the lid securely. I've made it a habit to just shake the bottle a couple times after filling to get rid of the water trapped under/between the lid and bottle. It's great not having to taste tap water or dirty gym fountain water. Perfect for traveling. Things to be aware of: Open away from you on a plane because of pressure change. The water in the filter will get squeezed out regardless how full/empty the bottle is. Shake after filling, water can collect under/around the lid and drip on you. A drop of water also sometimes collects at the pressure valve next to the spout with filling/pressure changes (but never when closed). Aside from filling and not closing the lid tightly enough, it has never leaked on me in any bags. My biggest complaint is how small the bottle is. I'm constantly refilling, which get annoying, and longer hiking trips means it's not enough water. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It's definitely on the small side, the filter housing is hard to pop open, and the date/indicator is a piece of loose useless plastic. That said, taste is decent and worked wonderfully while traveling and drinking tap water. The lanyard/loop has a bad design where you have to line it up just right with the grooves on the neck of the bottle for it to seat properly, and this means it does not spin freely. I just got rid of it. My biggest peeve with this bottle is, as someone else mentioned, water gets trapped under the lid between the lid and threads regardless of how securely the lid is on. This then drips all over you as you drink and I'm so over having wet dribble marks down my shirt every day. Otherwise, great bottle, really soft and easy to squeeze, and can save you some money if you're traveling or normally buy bottled water.

Parecía muy bueno.

Sinceramente no necesito una botella de agua con filtro purificador, pero, noté que el filtro de agua removia cierto sabor del agua con la que relleno el garrafón (supuestamente purificada). Eso me gustó bastante y comencé su uso diario encontrando un par de problemas: En ocasiones la tapa necesita un cierre más fuerte de lo normal, teniendo goma uno esperaria que al llegar al tope de la rosca la botella quedaría hermeticamente cerrada, pero no. el problema consiste en una serie de estrias que en ocasiones detienen la tapa antes del tope y no dejan que cierre del todo, hay que cerrar con fuerza y en ocasiones hay que abrir la obtella para volverla a enroscar. La tapa es sumamente frágil. El producto no tenia ni un mes de uso cuanod despues de una caida desde la altura de una mesa rompió la tapa que lleva el filtro dejando la botella inservible. Tome precauciones.

Bom produto, com uma falha imperdoável: a tampa!

O produto tem ótima qualidade, e, sendo assim, me impressiona como o fabricante conseguiu fazer uma tampa tão péssima! Experimente andar com o cantil acoplado a um cinto ou fivela na calça: se a tampa não cair sozinha no quarto passo que você der, irá cair no quinto. Philips, YOU MUST CORRECT THAT!!

I'm not sure it works but I'm willing to trust it

I bought this Green filter together with the one with Blue Tap water filter to go on a cruise to filter the tap water. The blue one works great because it was designed to filter chlorine, etc. from tap water, while this green one is used to filter water from rivers or wells. I've tested it on the cruise trip and it doesn't filter chlorine from the tap filter, but I'm willing to bet this will work well to filter clear water from natural sources.

Filtro excelente, botella baja calidad

Para la marca que es yo esperaba materiales de mejor calidad, no niego la efectividad del filtro pero la botella le hace falta más calidad, el plástico es muy flexible, tiene fugas en la tapa, no puedes llevarlo en la mochila o bolso, en fin se nota poco duradero.

Fresh tasting water every bottle

I bought this to bring on a cruise to filter the tap-water and it does a great job in removing the chlorine in the water. It's easy to fill and use but you have to ensure the top cap is pushed in properly, else some of the water will leak since the top cap is not screwed in.
