Best mouse trap ever.

This mouse trap is sure fire every time. Other brand traps and the other Victor with the little tongue are unreliable and pretty much useless. Buy these and you with catch every mouse by the head the touches the tongue of the trap. I use peanut butter. Catches every time!!

Staple came out. Add peanut butter to the lure.

I've got some really old ones, and the staples have never come out. I'll assume this is a manufacturing error. I pushed the staple back in, but it's still loose. If you put peanut butter in the yellow lure, the mice really go for this kind. I've got copper ones too, but these get the most traffic. That's the price of having a yard I guess.

Best We've Found Anywhere

We live in the country and country critters are just everywhere - - from the coyote that walked across our porch yesterday - to the snakes we have found inSIDE our home - and no we're not hoarders - We have a beautiful place we built 50 yrs ago and it's even been on a home tour - - But surrounded by a woods on 3 sides - things are just going to happen - We had a mouse explosion a while back and all we had were the cheaply made Dollar Store mouse traps and they would trip if a mouse even got within view - leaving the mouse to run free - My husband said "Get on amazon and find the best mouse trap of this style - and order a couple" I ordered these and after only a few days - our mouse population is null and void as far as we know - - Now they're a little tricky to set until you get used to them - - because they are on dead ready from the time you start trying to set one - - but they WORK - -

Snap! Best defense ever!

Every single trap I set out 12+ caught a mouse. I just throw the whole trap out, I don't want to deal with removing body but worth every penny!

Simple effective and NO scent

Scent was a thing on the review… so strange. Put bait in it… whatever. Teaspoon of peanut butter… works great. Set, check in the AM. Reset if needed. Ez

Does the job, only had to tweak 2 out of 12, and they are work

Sad to say, we have a mouse situation. Happy to say, these are definitely making a difference. All 12 traps work fine. Two traps needed a slight crimp of the trigger, without it, they were too sensitive, snapping closed just from being gentle set down. The first week, I killed 4-5 mice. Now they're either keeping to darker corners, away form my scent, and/or i got most of the ones in the basement. I've had more success with a bucket top trap (6+ kills, once 3 at a time), but it can be a cruel death if you don't check it regularly. The snap traps are a very quick death, so I'm using one of these in the bucket to finish them off painlessly.

Frank the mouse moved in with his family, frank was unwelcome. After we asked Frank nicely to leave, and he refused, it was time to set the traps. They work. Frank and his family are no more.

Ill be honest, I never like using them, I get really upset when one of the traps has a poor mouse trapped. However, sometimes you have to do it because of hygiene or safety. All i had to do was put a cashew nut on the trap, next day, the deed was done. Far better than the rubbish metal ones you see around, these actually work.

Doesn’t work

The bar is far too short to go under the bait pedal I , nearly had a nasty finger with this trap going off prematurely, I know it was cheap and it certainly isn’t cheerful ! !

Basic, effective mouse trap

No need to bait - just set and leave where mouse is likely to run. NB This is, of course, a kill trap. In my experience, it kills the mouse instantly.

Go Victors!

Awesome. Victor traps are the best! Caught two mice in the first night, didn't even use any bait! Cheap wannabes don't work, they have heavy triggers, go for Victors, I also have regular Victors without plastic trays, they are also wonderful and last forever.
