An adequate alternative for organizing pills

Individual compartments are really as deep as described and they are able to accomodate the suggested amount of pills. I am supporting an 81-year-old person who is a little clumsier than average with this tool, who gets along relatively well with it. Obviously, you need a bit of skill to empty the individual parts (e.g. it is better to grip only the transparent parts specifically, because colored keys can cause the compartments to open unintentionally). Dispensing is much more transparent a traceable. It can be taken apart extensively, resulting in easy cleaning.

Have pills will travel!!

I have recently been placed in Hospice care at home. So while I was still feeling okay enough to travel to friends and family I wanted to get something big enough that I could just load up my meds and not worry about taking all of my bottles with me. It worked great. My only gripe was if you are not careful and you accidentally press a little bit on one section you don’t need while you are opening the one you do need, when you turn it over to get your pills out the one you accidentally opened, yeah those pills come out and all over the floor.

It is sturdy, well made!

I bought another like this from my local Walmart and it did not last. You can tell this well made, not cheap!!

Well made, compartments are NOT removable!! Ezy Dose Weekly Pill Organizer, 2X-Large Push Button~

Product seems to be well made, and individual compartments are a great large size! ~~ However, the compartments are NOT removable. i.e. you can not grab a daily compartment to keep handy near you, or for travel. For that reason, it gets 3 stars, as it does not work for me without removable compartments.

Simple and Easy to Use

I love this thing! I bought it to organize my mother's medications. I like how much it holds and how easy the tabs are to push. I was hoping my arthritic mother could use it in a pinch, and I was right. Very well designed.

Great weekly pill organizer

We take pills 3 times a day and though this had slots for 4–it’s perfect. It’s such a timesaver and very easy to use.

It takes some getting used to

It's set up kinda weird, so you really must pay attention. Seems solid and I like the press to open. No worries of the tab snapping disasters!

Not As Big As Advertised

Such a disappointment! This pill box is touted as 2X Large. The pill compartments are NOT EXTRA LARGE! I have several pills to take every morning that now come in capsule form that I have to take multiples of for each dose. This box's compartments are no larger than the ones sold in drug stores! AND IT IS NOT RETURNABLE!!! Yes, it is a 7-day organizer that I expected to use as a 28-day organizer while traveling, like the similar one I've used for years. My complaint is that it should not be advertised as "2X-Large" because that is what mislead me to buy it, thinking that the compartments would be larger to fit my pills that are now sold as capsules. The box is a little larger because of the design, but the pill compartments are the same as any other box, maybe even a bit smaller.

Easy to fill feature can also be a bit finicky

I really wanted this kind of locking pill box for the rare occasions I travel, as I wish I had a dollar for every time my pills spilled all through my bag. This organizer seems very sturdy, and I don't foresee having that problem ever again. I really wanted a 3 times daily organizer in this style, but they just don't make them. As a result, the pill reservoirs are still quite a bit smaller than I would like compared to the 2 times daily box I'm migrating from. It's a trade-off that still works for me, but this wouldn't work if you take loads of fish oil caps (for example) in one dose. I ultimately went for this model as I really love that the lids are removable, so the pills can be dropped in easily. It takes me at least half an hour to put my meds together due to cognitive difficulties, so making that part easy is important. Having said that, the design is a little finicky. Each set of lids (e.g. morning/lunch and evening/night) is separate but has tiny interlocking tabs. Getting them back into place in the organizer is a little fiddly. I have hand arthritis. It's not yet so bad I can't manage, but I would imagine if your hands are quite painful or if you have shakes from symptoms or side effects, you might find this a little frustrating. The only other caveat is that this box is large (even if the individual wells are not that deep), and it's not something you could put in a handbag or purse. I travel with a small suitcase or a backpack, so it's fine for my needs, but if you want to be more discreet with taking pills, maybe you'd be best to go for two of the smaller 2 times daily ones or one of the models with removable day boxes.

X-Large Pill Organizer

This is an extra large pill organizer. I have textbooks that are smaller than this. It definitely has lots and lots of space in each of the little pods. I didn’t quite grasp just how big it was when I ordered it (my bad), and when I took it out of the box my husband started laughing (it is for him). All of his supplements and medications fit in this without problem. Just be forewarned that this is not discreet and you’ll be just fine. Also, if the doors overlap they don’t close properly, so just take your time when shutting them. Overall, we are very happy with it.

Very functional

One of the best pill holders I can find. Each single box holds a lot of pills, like easily 10 over regular sized pills. And the lids pop open and close with ease by releasing the catch. Very functional. Just great for my mum who’s taking more pills lately

Best in Class

Well made, the lids open nicely, and compartments are large. That surprised me. The box does demand a good amount of storage space, take note of that. It's definitely not intended to slip into a pocket or purse. But the compartment arrangement, and how the lids open, is for me the Best in Class. Thanks.

As you see. Very good. The levers and lids are clicky but not too much. It would improve the product if there is another layer of lid so I don’t have to open one by one to refill, but this does everting it promises to do.
