Helpful for little hands

We got these to help our son learn to hold his pencil properly and they have helped out a ton with that. It's hard to correct poor habits that have formed, but these are helping him to not only hold his pencils properly, but do so while re-learning to write (correcting that poor penmanship as well) killing two birds with one stone. Practice makes progress!! But all three of us would recommend these pencil grips for those little hands. It's also nice that there is an "R" and and "L" for direction to make sure you're holding it properly.

Not a fan of the texture

It isn't clear on how to hold it and I'm not a fan of the squeaky rubbery texture. It is hard to put on and remove but that's ok. Overall it does it's job.

This is great to help a kid learn how to hold a pencil. My son has been using this to help him write and hold the pencil correctly.

My Child Can Hold a Pencil Now

My kid lost all of these in a couple of weeks, so in retrospect I should have held onto them and doled them out as needed instead of just dumping all them out and saying, go for it. Nevertheless, they (kid is non-binary or "enby" lol) don't hold their pencil weird anymore, so the brief time they had these seems to have paid off. I feel like this gets us one step closer to that Harvard degree down the road, so it is a small investment in the bigger scheme.

Easy to use, makes writing comfortable!

I'm on my third bag of these, and I have them all over the place. I have arthritis in my hands that make it difficult to hold a pen or pencil. I use them on coloured pencils, gel pens, blending pencils for art work. I find my writing to be less painful and way neater. I keep these wonderful blobs on pens and pencils in my car, my purse, my home and office. LIFE SAVERS!! They're giving back me my life and my hobbies. My occupational therapist recommends these to her other clients.

I wish I'd known about these years ago!

All my life, I've had issues with my hands cramping when writing which I've always attributed to my dyspraxia affecting how I hold my pens. It was something that standard grips never came close to resolving, no matter how many I tried. While these are far bulkier than most pen grips, more than just the cushioning, the ergonomics likely largely explain why these have succeeded in remedying this when others have failed. Not only do they provide cushioning, but they force you to hold a pen correctly at the same time. Moreover, they're functional whether you're left or right-handed. Something I value, being that I'm ambidextrous and often alternate between hands. I also like how stretchy they are; I've paired them with my drawing pencils and Frixion pens. ☑ Positives - Stopped my hands from cramping - Forces you to hold a pen correctly - Works for left and right-handed users - Stretchy enough to fit most pens and pencils ☒ Negatives - Bulky

Great Pencil Grip; Makes Writing Fun

My wife had noticed the kids were holding their writing instruments incorrectly and were using 3 fingers to hold a pencil as opposed to 2. I eventually bought this Pack of 6 and was certainly surprised at how quick my kids enjoyed this Pencil Grip. My daughter found it was comfortable and quite soft to use and didn't complain about awkwardness. Considering the length of time she had been writing with 3 fingers she quickly mastered holding her pencil correctly. My son also found it quite helpful and really enjoys using it. It's sometimes a hard sell with kids but I believe the colors and softness of the grip allowed them to accept them. Both my kids didn't complain about soreness or blisters when beginning to use this Pencil Grip, on or around their fingers. My youngest, whom is beginning to write as well, is encouraged watching his siblings write and also wants to learn. I tired myself using these Pencil Grips and found them quite useful. The texture, feel and quality of this Grip is ideal; very nicely done. There really isn't a best time to introduce such a Grip with your kids; you just want to catch any issues as they begin to write or perhaps when they are already writing. The advantage with this Pencil Grip; is that there is help available; which is cheap and quite fun.

Consistencia buena pero es muy ancho

Es demasiado gordo: se hace muy incómodo escribir con él, la textura es buena pero debe colocarse muy lejos de la punta (muy “arriba” en el lápiz o pluma) porque si se coloca cerca de la punta, no permite que toque el papel por lo ancho que es. Ojalá hubiera mas delgados porque la Consistencia es fabulosa. Para niños pequeños supongo que está bien, pero para un adulto que busca aliviar la empuñadura definitivamene no.
