A pan made to stand the test of time
What's not to like about Staub? I have gone through so many aluminum, all-clad and calphalon roasting pans over the years (all of which were supposed to last a lifetime) that I finally decided to break down and buy something that actually will last. The downside is that this baker is heavy. But the upside of this pan is that it's heavy. I can't see this warping. It won't lose its' "last-forever" non-stick surface, or diamond hard coating (Calphalon), It won't turn a dusty gray with use. It wont' turn from a burnished gold to a nasty looking brownish aluminum. It's just a pan that you can use over and over and knowing Staub and my experience with Staub it will continue to look good doing it. And yes, it costs a lot. But, if I added up the cost of all those other pans I bought with the greatest of hopes and tossed, this is a far better value. My only regret is that I had discovered Staub years ago.

A Wonderful Tool
Brutally simple. It has not a single unnecessary bell, element or whistle. All one piece - No handle rivets to collect dirt and grease. I hope the wonderful finish holds up, but do not doubt that it will. I can throw a cut onion and garlic cloves in with the chicken to roast and, after mashing them up in the gravy, I have no baked on gunk. It does take an extra ten or fifteen minutes to roast a chicken probably because there is a lot of iron to heat up.

Muito boa!
Gostei bastante da travessa. Tem bordas um pouco mais altas comparado a travessas mais comuns, o que é bom. Pode ser usada para preparos de pratos que exijam bordas mais altas como lasanha. É bem grande. Levando em consideração as alças, tem 47cm de comprimento e 38cm de comprimento útil da travessa em si sem as alças. Meu forno é relativamente pequeno então só coube perpedicularmente utilizando toda a profundidade do forno. Então atenção ao tamanho. É realmente pesada, o que para mim é ponto positivo pois retém bem o calor. Mas pode tornar a limpeza um pouco mais cansativa. Muito satisfeito com a travessa.
