Even better than expected
The first time we bought Pointehaven sheets was in 2015. Three sets, one at overstock and two here at Amazon. They were nice then but are even better now. The one thing that stands out is they're much softer plus they cost $80 now vs $48 in 2015 (should have been $60 if adjusted for inflation) but with the Bidet supply chain and everything else going on we feel lucky to have been able to find them at this price, if at all. Other retailers were 45% higher. Our original Pointehaven sheets were made in China, but now they're made in Pakistan. They are the same 500 thread count, the same color and they're supposed to be the same Egyptian cotton. Maybe they use cotton from a different Egypt in Pakistan than they did in China (sic). My wife says the quality of the stitching was good then but is perfect now, e.g., where the ends meet on pillowcases. Trust me on this, she has this super close up vision that's like me using 10x magnification with 20/20. Shopping with her is maddening because she has to examine every stitch. These sheets have a true 21" deep pocket that actually fits our gigantic Sterns & Foster mattress. We've had other brands costing $180 plus that claimed to be extra deep but they were washed once and given away. Our daughters don't know how lucky they are. One stayed over Christmas and asked when we'd be getting new sheets for the guest room. My wife asked what was wrong with them and she said, nothing they're fantastic she wanted them when we bought new ones. The new more expensive sheets she got from us aren't as nice as our 8 year old Pointehaven sheets.

100% cotton ?
These sheets are NOT 100% cotton. They may be a cotton blend with polyester/microfiber mix. The reason why I say this is that polyester/microfiber makes me itch and these sheets do that. I have no problem with cotton. Also they are very thin and leave LOTS of lent in my dryers lent screen. Another indication that they contain polyester. But, they are soft and stay on the bed well but that is all the positive that I can give them. I am getting ready to try to return them and I am sure that will be a process since they come from out of the country. I cannot recommend these sheets. Update: I just heard from the company that makes these sheets and they guarantee that they are 100 % cotton. I should not say that they are not cotton since I have no way to test them . I also want to add that I washed them 3 times in dye free detergent and even a double rinse. I then dried them on an ultra low setting and they were dry in 20 minutes. How is that possible? They are thin and with all the lent that they leave in the drier, I don't see how they could last any amount of time. These sheets have lots of great reviews and that lead me to but them . I am glad for all the people that are enjoying them .Seems like all I can expect in the return in 50% of cost. Better than nothing since I cannot sleep on these sheets.

Just OK
I love the feel of real cotton sheets, but I really don't like what they call "sateen" or percale. I want old fashioned soft cotton which I thought these were, but no. I washed them before use and when I took them out of the dryer, I was so disappointed. They have a slick and "crunchy" feel to them instead of the buttery soft cotton feel. They fit the bed well and aren't horrible, but just realize they aren't 100% cotton.

These are the best sheets I have bought for the money and when they say they are for deep pockets they really mean it. They are soft, wash and wear great. I will continue to buy this brand as long as they are in business. Thank you Pointhaven

4 stars only because the color is off (for me) - the sheets are comfy and soft! I was hoping for a dark, rich Brown. These have a little more orange tint - brighter than the Dark brown I was hoping for. I would buy again in another color. . .

ROUGH
I was raised with 100% cotton sheets. These are 100% NOT cotton. Feels like a million sharp hairs poking you. I'm hoping after a 1,000 washes and fabric softener I can at least use in my guest room. ISH!!!!

Very soft, cool and comfortable sheets
These are some of the finest softest most comfortable sheets I've ever had the chance to sleep in. I have traveled to a lot of five star and resort hotels in my business life world and I wouldn't say these beat anything I've slept in my life but they are on pairity. I washed them a couple of times when I first got them out of the package in cold water and medium heat dry. If you can, put them on your bedding right away for minimal wrinkling and if not they'll disappear in a day. Now the reason for a full five star is I felt there was objectivity when both my girlfriend and when I had company over in the guest bedroom. Both commented profusely how much they enjoyed sleeping on those sheets and pillow cases and how soft and cool they were to the skin.

Best sheets I’ve ever owned for a fair price.
I’ve tried a lot of different sheets but have always found the Pointehaven 500TC sheets made from Egyptian cotton to be the best. I prefer Egyptian cotton sheets for feel, comfort and durability. Extra deep pockets fit on my 17” mattress with plenty of sheet to spare. I move around a lot in bed but these sheets always stay tucked in. I’ve bought 4 sets of these sheets over time but not because the sheets have had any problems but just because I like the wide choice of colors. The first set I bought still looks and feels as good as this newest set does.

The colour is a muted warm blue which I find it attractive, but if you are expecting a true light, bright blue, you may be disappointed. The actual colour is more yellowish than the photo as it appears on my computer screen. Seem to be of good quality after one washing. Required some touch up ironing. It is hard to find California King sized items in Canada, so I appreciate the availablility.
