The perfect incontinence pad for me
First, me: various autoimmune issues (including MS), power chair, full release incontinence, idea of self-catheterization makes me want to cry. This product has been the best of many I have tried (these are basically in order of effectiveness): 1. Poise Incontinence Pads for Women, Ultimate Absorbency, Long, Original Design; 2. Always Discreet, Incontinence & Postpartum Pads For Women, Size 6, Extra Heavy Absorbency, Long; 3. TENA Incontinence Pads, Bladder Control & Postpartum for Women, Overnight Absorbency; 4. Rael Organic Incontinence Liners Long Organic Bladder Control Liners, 4 Layer Core Protection with Leak Guard Technology (these were a laugh - for me). The Poise brand seemed to work the best at containing the problem (including another type of incontinence - lol). Then the thickness of the pad started to cause some problems. I started getting a few pressure spots (even after getting a new power chair cushion). I just dealt with it (I REALLY did not want to move to catheterization). Then one day while I was reordering, I saw these - Poise Ultra Thin Incontinence Pads. I said what the heck and ordered a box. They came, I saw how thin they were, and thought oh this will be funny - but I tried them. They worked, wow did they work. These will hold an insane amount of liquid and barely thicken. The length ensures it will take care of front and light back incontinence and the thickness is barely noticeable. I have a couple pairs of washable absorbant underwear and these were a lot more comfortable (I could also still wear my favorite underwear). There are no "wings", but there are sort of short walls/lips/edges? I guess is what you would call them gathered along the edges that fit in closely to your body. These almost completely eliminate side spills (unless you are going for a Niagra Falls record). The only underwear spots I am getting are the occasional heavy flow edge marks and back edge spots (heavy flow moving faster than pad can absorb and spotting past the end of the pad) due to sitting. I am very impressed with this pad and have ordered more of them. The quality is always perfect (Tena worked, but they were thick and occasionally you would get one without adhesive; I really did not find the Always to be effective for my type of incontinence). Now remember, I do not have leaks. I have a 30s warning then all hands on deck. However, they do make some lighter strength ones that would probably work just as well for leaks. These would last you all day even with multiple leaks and I have never had any odor problem with them (there is also no perfume smell to them). So if you also are looking for the "perfect" incontinence pad, this one is awfully close (in my opinion of course). UPDATE: 03.24.23 As a funny-ha-ha, I decided to stick this to the kitchen counter, get a measuring cup with 2 cups of water and pour away. Reason? The female bladder can hold around 2 cups of urine. Now this was a volume test, NOT a speed test - so slow pour. So, I started pouring, pouring, pouring, still pouring ... At about 1 1/2 cups, things started to get a LITTLE out of control with end leaks (not side) - so I stopped. By that time, the pad was approximately 1 inch thick - wow. (So maybe like those little sponges that blow up huge when thrown in water?) It is some type of super absorbant material. (Really wish I had filmed this - but then people already look at me funny.) By the way, if you wait until you have 2 cups in your bladder, you MIGHT want to consider setting a timing alarm on your watch/phone/computer/etc to remind you to pee regularly! So, STILL my favorites!

Whoa!!! Whatta Pad!!!
Due to its thin design, I wasn't sure the top strength Ultimate (6) long, would do the job. I am absolutely amazed. No leaking, no wet pants, or 3 changes during the day. I am 80 and I have tried so many, problems seem to occur with leakage, etc. And, not to mention having a wad of stuff between the legs to catch it all is not the most comfortable. But, until these, very necessary. The others are less money, and I certainly these thin ones catch on and all the major players make these to help the cost. But I use less, they feel dry on top, and they don't leak. I am not sure how they are doing it, but these do as they say. At least for me. I am very happy I tried them. I cannot get these in my local stores, so, when these showed up when I was doing my monthly price check for pads, I thought I would try them not expecting them to work. I was wrong. I feel normal again. I don't feel as though I have a pad in my panties ... they are very comfortable, no odor like many others who way they are odor free (ha!), these are really nice. As for adhesion, just right. They stick to my panties fine even when I used Fabric Softener. They remove easily, and the adhesion is from top to bottom. I like that they are wide, you need that to collect everything. But you don't notice it. I am very happy that I tried them. They work for me and my needs. Everyone is different. But they surely are worth a try if you are haven't done so. Thin pads for heavy incontenience is a dream.

Incontinance Pads
I did not think that I would like them, because they were thinner than I thought they were, but was surprised after using one pad and It was so much better than i thought it would be. I thought that I would need a thicker pad, but they worked great!

Does the job
I like the length, the fact it stays put and its ability to absorb moisture. It has helped me from having embarrassing accidents. Will buy again when I run out. DEPENDABLE!!!!!

Serves the purpose
I purchased these for post pardum drainage. These are not thin as I expected. They feel like and look like an old fashioned maxi pad. I'm used to wearing ultra thin foam pads for menstrual. These are not "thin" like that.

Ultimate
As someone who suffers with a medical condition I am always looking for new pads on the market. These are very thin and not bulky at all. Very absorbent. In my opinion tho, these are better suited for people with lighter bladder issues and not heavier bladder problems. I knocked one star off due to the middle width which isnt wide enough and spill over was a problem for me. If they were just a tad bit more wider on each side in the middle these would be perfect. Let's face it, the front and back of the pad isnt where all the wetness goes. It goes in the middle of the pad and that is what is lacking on these. I will keep looking.

Poise Ultra Thin
Absorbs YES! Execution on the thin YES! Better than always in those category. Center adhesive can be better. It sticks so well that it sticks to the center of underwear when removing. Not bulky when wet so only issue is the adhesive, it doesn’t come completely apart when pulling but does need to be fixed if possible. Overall, someone got it almost right!

I love the new design
These are so comfortable. I hated the other style. These fit me perfectly and are so comfortable I cant even tell Im wearing them. They dont bunch up like the old style. Im a smaller framed person and they fit perfectly and dont irritate my sensitive skin. Its tiny in size but it holds alot. I love the discreet packaging.. If I could give these a 10 I would.

Not the same as the ones in the store having the same description.
We thought we were buying the same product as my mother-in-law likes to buy in the store. 3 stars, regular, Poise. She was very unhappy. They don't stick and fall into the toilet and they don't absorb. Why the difference? There should be some description about that so you don't get fooled.

Good lightweight liner
These are the best ones for incontinence and or just daily leakage. Light not bulky. Hardly know you are wearing it.

not as absorbant as other ones I have purchased from Poise, especially overnight...too thin

Disappointed
I'm terribly disappointed that Poise never thought to keep the same absorbancy as the older packages. Poise is a great product but I'm really peeved.
