Better than most

This stuff has about a 2-year lifespan if left out in the weather year around. Having been in the pool business for decades, I've learned that's about the most you can expect from this kind of hose. However, it's not impervious to damage from being punctured or cut. Don't leave it laid out in traffic conditions or where things will rub or wear on it. Also, if putting it away, take the time to roll it up and unroll it for use later rather than just toss it. If this kinks and has high pressure on it, it will burst.

Sure glad I was a automotive mechanic for 50 years instead of an engineer, hose clamp was the proper size and worked as designed.

This hose worked as designed, but I don’t expect it to last long. Hose is made with a low quality plastic and will tear at ends if manipulated to much.

worked well for my use

I connected this to a submerged pump to suck water out of a water feature, and it worked great. I have only used this a few times in a three week span, and thus I cannot speak to durability. The plastic is very thin, but that is a good thing for me because the water needs to flow, and when not in use, it will collapse and roll up to be small for storage. I would buy this again.

Need larger clamp to hook hose the backwash tube. TOO small

The clamp that come with the hose is Too Small to hook hose to the backwash tube. It does not open up enough to keep from cutting the hose. It is TOO Small. I been a Heavy Equipment mechanic and Fleet Manager for 48 years and know how to use a hose clamp!!

DO NOT BUY Ripped on first use

I bought this hose in July 2021 to drain my pool water on closing Sept 17. I fixed it to the filter, turn to waste setting, and in seconds it ripped off from two locations. It ripped off from the cims. It came with no wrapping and I guessed something was wrong. DO NOT BUY from this company or this brand. Price is expensive compared to local prices. Better quality assurance is required for such vendors selling bad products on Amazon.

Definately not heavy duty

I figured for the price that it would not be great and it was only to be used to empty my hot tub 4 times a year so did not need anything too expensive. I just wish they wouldent use words like heavy duty because this is so light duty that i cant belive it even pumped water without bursting. Wish i would have spent a little more money on a better product. (Update to this reviw is that it burst on second use today. Seriously this is about as strong as a glad garbage bag.)

Cheap plastic

J'ai utilisé le tuyau sur une pompe qui prend l'eau du lac et remplir des contenants. Il fait présentement entre -10 et -20 degrés celcius. (Je fais ma propre patinoire pour ceux qui ce demande pourquoi) le fameux tuyaux "robuste" à briser à la deuxième utilisation.... Pour le prix je m'attendais à avoir un produit de basse qualité. Par contre le titre de ce produit claim être ROBUSTE . Aucune confiance en ce produit. Ne pas utiliser à basse température.

Works as expected

The hose was for a Medas sump pump I used to drain an above ground pool. It lays flat when you roll it, be sure to check the entire length after unrolling to avoid the kinks. I do find where it has to bend due to the environment and where you are using it, it left some white marks in the material but it didn't make a hole. It was very flexible, easy to unroll, had a circular clamp to attach it properly to the pump. I am quite pleased with this product. I purchased the 50' hose, but I should have opted for the 100', 50' doesn't go as far as you imagine in your mind. I do not regret this purchase in terms of quality. It is as described, no holes, wrapped neatly, has a clamp that comes with it.

Semble assez résistant

Nous l'avons utilisé pour faire un "back wash" pour la piscine et mon conjoint dit que le tuyau est plus résistant que celui qui était dans les accessoires fournis avec la piscine
