She's Amazing! But a Word of Warning

First of all, she's beautiful! I usually buy my dolls in person because Barbies are usually hit or miss on the face print, but this one isn't pixelated or skewed at all. Now I have to say: I'm not an in-the-box collector, but I probably would have been disappointed if I was. Her handbag came broken in two pieces in the box, and doesn't close anymore. As you can see, the joint was damaged. Also, the dog she comes with had an issue on one ear where it looks like it melted or was dented. Both issues were visible before opening the box, especially with the handbag lid rattling around. Not sure if these are quality control issues, or if it has to do with how she was shipped in a box barely bigger than the doll's with no padding. Don't let any of this discourage you if you like her! She's stunning, and I don't regret this purchase in the slightest. Just know that like usual, this probably isn't the best place to buy for in-the-box collectors or for a perfectly packaged gift.

Nice concept, so-so execution

I really like the concept of the "Extras" doll line & I'm willing to pay a bit "extra" for them. My opinion on the styling though, is quite different. Yes, the dolls clothes are more detailed & somewhat better quality than the rock-bottom awful that so many Barbie clothes are today, but...the style of the clothes is really off-putting to me. I don't go in for bizarre fashions. I bought this set for the doll, not the clothing. I'll keep the dress & stockings, but the blouse & hat are going to come off as soon as I unbox the doll. So, high points for concept & diversity, low points for fashion. At least the fashion isn't covered in logos like the BMR1959 line. Since I don't keep anything with a logo on it, all my 2 BMR1959 dolls kept of their clothing was a pair of transparent boots! Update:As I carefully unboxed the doll, I had a lot of trouble with her extra-long straight hair tangling in everything. I usually buy dolls with wavy hair because it shows tangles less than ultra-straight hair. I had to cut the dolls large earrings off, as they kept catching her hair. I finally put a hair elastic on the hairdo keep it in a ponytail. I had no intentions of keeping the blouse & hat, so I undressed the doll right after unboxing. She has the nice Curvy body type, but the dress seemed to be cut a bit tight for that. after removing the blouse from the dress, I really had to tug to get the dress back up over her hips. It's plastic iridescent material is pretty, but has no stretch. I'm satisfied with her look for now with just the dress, stockings & shoes.

Great Extras

I’ve been really impressed with the Barbie Extra line. This doll was on sale for under $20. For that price you get a poseable doll with a fun, unique fashion. She comes with a cute dog, white fishnet tights, multiple jewelry pieces, a beanie, sunglasses, and a purse. This doll has a curvy body type and appears Asian with pink and purple hair. She’s unique and beautiful. She’ll be enjoyed by kids and adult collectors.

Perfect Doll in Smashed Box

I was pretty perturbed when my brand new Barbie came with her box smashed open. This is bad not only for collectors, but anyone gift buying. Thankfully she was for myself and I was planning on unboxing. The tinsel in her hair makes it difficult to comb out, but over all she is gorgeous and one of my favorite Barbie Extras. ☺️

She’s so pretty and honestly one of the only dolls whose outfit I liked. Such great quality, y’all. That being said, her hair gets super tangled and while it may be soft at first, let’s just say that changes with use. It gets matted and a little plastic-y.

Amazing doll ❤ A Must Buy For Both Adults/Collectors And Kids Or Simply Decorate!

Shes a very beautiful doll and her outfit is simply cute! Exactly as pictured. Idc about the little damage on the box she came in, the doll itself is gorgeous. Shes lightweight feeling material, clothes are made well done for a doll and very details are on point. From the makeup to the clothes itself. Shes so adorable to decorate my vanity with. Overall wonderful doll, highly reccomend for any adult who loves to decorate and collect. Amazing buy for kids too. I bought two of these (Extra Barbie 5 and 3) thats how much i love them and also bought my daughter as well. Shes decorates it too lol. Thank you so much for making my vanity come to life ❤❤❤❤❤

Lovely doll

Very nice doll. The only complaint was she was sent in a bag so the doll box was smashed and one of the dolls shoes came loose. I found the shoe in the shipping bag. My daughter age 8 keeps her dolls in boxes so it would have been better to post in a box. Otherwise the doll is very pretty.

She's Fab

I really like this doll, her clothes are nice quality and her hair is really soft. The only thing that we noticed is that her hair sheds alot and is difficult to brush because of the strands of tinsel. Her joints are nice and stiff too and aren't loose like you see on most articulated Barbie bodies. She feels quiet sturdy. Worth the price.
