It's definitely improving my PF. Not perfect.
First off, this has been the first thing I've tried that has actually improved my PF after using it for a couple of weeks. It took a little bit of experimentation on how tight to make the Velcro straps (both around the area below my knee, and the tension strap for the toes.) If I made the strap too tight, my toes would start hurting or go numb in the middle of the night. Too loose, and I'd get out of bed with a little bit of PF pain. Adjusted just-right -- it's great! I am finally getting up out of bed in the morning with minimal pain. My biggest wish is that the tension/strap would allow for keeping the foot at the correct angle (for me is about 90-degree angle) without pulling back my toes so much. It would be a lot more comfortable if my toes could remain a little bit straighter instead of bent back so much. But I don't know how possible it would be to develop a sock that could do that -- without ending up being a bulky hard plastic boot-thing. All in all, spending a few dollars on this sock has gotten me better results without having to pay hundreds of dollars for podiatrist office visits or physical therapy appointments.

Seems to be Helping So Far!
Like many others who have submitted reviews, I have plantar fasciitis. I had PF in my left foot about 10 years ago, and it persisted for two years. I ended up with custom orthotics and gel heel inserts. Also, I exercised my foot with a roller-type apparatus. When I noticed pain in my right foot (despite wearing orthotics in both shoes), I immediately started exercises and applying ice to ward it off. Unfortunately this did not work. After two months of this, I got my first cortisone shot which helped for about 5 weeks. I got my second cortisone shot a few days ago. Initially, I tried a night splint and found it extremely uncomfortable to the point that I couldn't sleep with it on. I then tried this night sock which is much more comfortable than a splint or boot. When you try multiple remedies, it's difficult to know what us helping. Basically, that's why my doctor said that you have to do it all! I do think this sock helps alleviate some of the pain. The only "con" that I've found is having to release the strap when getting up throughout the night to use the bathroom. You simply cannot walk in this sock. However, it's easy to redo it when going back to bed. I recommend this as one of several things to do to alleviate heel pain.

at toe area it would shift out of position and my big toe would be cut off from proper blood circulation to wake me up in great
I bought the smallest size they make. Still too large but I am short and my feet small so it was no surprise that I might have to figure out a few modifications. Too much sock for my short leg and about 3 hrs into the night it either slides down and tension is lost. Or ,at toe area it would shift out of position and my big toe would be cut off from proper blood circulation to wake me up in great pain. Solution: Wear lightweight low cut sock which took care of the sock sliding down to lose tension. Next, I traced foot on piece of cardboard (corrugated ) and again with ribbing going the opposite way.Cut out and place on top of each other and slide them down to tip of sock and you're good to go. It works great and I wear it about 5 nights a week. I bought this instead of the bulky ones or brace styles because I travel a lot and needed something that takes up as little room as possible in suitcase/carry on.

Too tight around shin/calf under knee painfully digs into skin leaves bruising
I purchased this item on June 7, 2022, along with an orthotic to insert like was recommended by a few other reviewers. I received it on June 9, 2022 and started wearing it that evening. The orthotic is definitely needed to keep your toes from being smashed and pulled to the side. The orthotic insert gave a little heel support, but not enough. the sock and the orthotic does not give enough compression for the foot though. The big problem that I have is that the sock is either not long enough to pull completely over my knee to go around my thigh (probably would be preferable) or too long that it comes half way up my knee, which is painful when the velco digs in. I even tried it without using the velcro strap going around, but it didn't stay put at all. I am short at 5'3", so this more than likely is the problem, as most items are made for 5'5" people and up. It also ends up being slowly pulled down towards my foot during the night and really digs into my leg. Picture attached of the painful marks left when I take it off in the morning. This sliding over night also doesn't keep my foot pulled in the optimal stretch all night. It also lets my foot go slack to the side, so absolutely no ankle support. The sock is comfortable enough to be able to sleep compared to a boot with a wedge for the ball of the foot that makes my foot go numb. I didn't wake with a sweaty foot, so there was enough ventilation for me, but my extremities do tend to be colder. There is absolutely no ankle support to keep your foot in a rigid stable position. This had treated my plantar faciitis, but has done nothing to help the achilles tendonitis that I also have, because of there not being any ankle support. I have been being treated by chiropractic care with massage to break up the fascia, but may need to move to cupping as the fascia seems to be really stuck with adhesions. I have purchased a night splint (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y8PXLN8/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_K4ZA29ZDSEPHWJRXXDTE_0) that I hope will help with the achilles tendonitis, due to arrive tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Works well
The sock seems to work well. I had read another review mentioning pressure on the big toe when using the sock. I followed their comments about inserting a insole from my old running shoe inside the sock to distribute the pressure and that took the pressure off the big toe when i use the sock. The sock fits well. I have size 13 shoes and it would even fit someone with larger feet. The strap around the top of the calf is ok though a couple of times it slipped down during the night. I liked that is not bulky like the plastic boot styles i have seen for sale. The sock seems to be good quality

Still suffering!
I was starting to get relief from my Plantar Fasciitis by wearing a Strassburg sock that I borrowed from a coworker. Decided to buy this black lookalike for myself because it was cheaper. Unfortunately it does not give my foot any relief and seems to have buggered up my ankle. Out of the blue, my ankle feels funny and unstable. I stopped wearing this sock and not sure if I can return it. Have been suffering for over a year with P.F.

Hmmmmm
Don't know if it the injury or the item but when wearing this i get woken up in the night with awful pain in my leg. Item appears to really keep it too rigid so you don't get too relaxed. It didn't fix my leg issue. I would not recommend.

description is accurate, and it helps!
fast shipping. as described. 2 nights in, foot feeling better already, especially in the morning. 1st night I woke with a discomfort, loosened toe tether, all good. next night was a full nights rest. simply flex my foot up, tighten tether a bit loose, and go to sleep. would recommend this product. been struggling with plantar fasciitis for 1.5 yrs. so far I am able to notice a difference in the right direction!
