Guest to keep dog bed from slipping!

Perfect to use under my dog’s bed that sits on top of his crate (one of the big table top type). Rug liner didn’t work but this keeps it pretty much in place when he jumps on top.

Great for large sanding projects

This grip mat by powertec is great if you have a large sanding project. The pad does a great job of holding in place to the work surface and to your project. Cleaning is fairly easy with shaking out of the pad or wiping it down. You can vacuum it also if dust builds up and causes the holding power to reduce. Nice size to the pad and easily cut to customize to the exact size you need or want. Overall a great product to help keep your material in place.

Almost great.

Works well with larger parts, but smaller parts still tend to move around. I did cut some of it up to make new pads for my table saw push blocks. Worked great.

Great for sanding

I bought this to use under pieces that I'm sanding with my random orbital sander to keep them from slipping on or being scratched by the workbench. So far, no complaints! They're doing exactly what I hoped that would. And I just shake it out to clean up the dust when I'm done.

Great gripping power

I do a good deal of free hand routing and sanding, with the aide of these mats I have no fear of the workpiece shooting off the bench. I had purchased the smaller size in the past and regretted it ever since, this size is perfect and allows me to work with larger items or smaller without having to adjust my position. I had a version of this in the past purchased from a local woodworking store and the grip was not comparable with the Power Tech mat. I have no qualms recommending this product.

Does what I needed but not really non slip during my sanding use.

Purchased this to help with two sanding problems using an orbital sander. One hand needed to hold the piece while sanding causes some fatigue and is a problem for smaller parts. The other was that the vibration between the part and my workbench was marring the opposite side of the piece I was sanding. This pad worked for the marring problem it cushions the piece well and doesn't leave and marks or residue. The pad was only non slip for a short time. Once the dust from sanding got on the pad it was not non slip. ( I do have a vac attached to the sander) Technically the description says it is a router pad. Routers do not make fine dust so maybe the anti slip feature would work for routing. Over all I am happy with the product. I was using a towel and the pad works much better.

Excellent, used router, electric planer and hand planer on wood which held on mat with no movement, I also cut two pieces to size of our chopping boards in kitchen, no movement at all brilliant.

Great addition to my workshop

The media could not be loaded. When working with finish sanded material, if I flip it over on the bench to work on the other side it gets scratch. I had been using a towel in this situation to protect the material, but the towel slides around on the bench. This Non-Slip pad has much better grip than a towel. It moves only slightly on the bench when sanding with electric sander (see video). The video was taken after I had sanded several of these doors so the bench and Non-Slip pad had some fine sawdust on it, but was still giving a reasonably good grip. In spite of the good results my rating is only 4 stars because even when brand new, the grip was not as good as other Non-Slip pads like I have seen at kitchen stores. However the POWERTEC 71014 Non-Slip Router Pad is huge, low price, and does the job. Tip: open the amazon package outdoors, then leave the mat outside for a few days to get rid of the chemical smell.

Says it's odorless but has a strong chemical smell

This was chosen because the description states odorless and non-toxic. Once opened, the mat stunk up my whole house with a strong chemical smell that gave me a headache. Since it's definitely not odorless how am I supposed to trust non-toxic? Returned.

Very good product

This mat is perfect for holding pieces in place without the use of clamps wether for routing or sanding. I really like the size of the mat as I use it as a non-slip cushion when sanding charcuterie boards that are large. Very happy with this mat.
