The pants I'd fight in.
These are great. The fabric is similar or identical to that of army ACUs. They are cut to have a slightly high waist. The belt loops up top are huge - they easily accept a nylon or leather dress belt and a 2" gun belt. The front pockets are slanted; the side pockets are also slanted and double pleated. An army buddy says he can keep two M4 mags in each side. They also make ideal shotgun dump pouches, as they bellow out to an almost grotesquely large size. Like, you can stuff them so full of shells that your thighs will look pregnant. They have loop closures up top with toggles that you can secure so that your ammo doesn't clatter out as you run and embarrass you. Just below the front pockets there's a velcro-closed kneedpad compartment. The opening for the compartment is slightly smaller than the width of the compartment so that you'll have to roll kneepads up to insert them. Apparently these are rather large, so you'll need regulation military kneepads, or just large ones, to be compatible. The rear pockets have two buttons to hold them shut, a nice feature. Below, on each leg, there's a signature extra pocket from army ACUs that holds a radio, knife, cell phone, or - with some tightness - a backup rifle magazine. The waist and cuffs have loop closures; particularly on the ankles, this is nice because you tie them on your ankles and blouse them down slightly or fit them into boots. If you're outdoors this means less risk of getting ticks and fleas on you. The waist has a slightly tacky finish, as if rubberized or elastic; this helps it grip above your hips. If you "sag" or wear your pants low like an ethnic grandpa, a rapper, or an ethnic rapper grandpa, these pants are probably not for you. The high waist and long crotch and slightly tapered legs will simply look wrong. Wear these slightly up with the belt loop between your waist and hips and they will look distinctively military but also will fit much more comfortably. Looking like a SWAT commando or a mall ninja is simply the (small) price you'll have to pay for having a highly durable and useful pair of pantalones.

I recommend these trousers to operators of all types.
These trousers are great and perform perfectly for what they were designed for. I own 3 pair (navy, olive, khaki). I am 6'4", 235 lbs, of average build (except for a widening in the waist), and I bought size 38 long. They fit perfectly. They are cut with a slightly high rise (they ride high on the waist), which allows for the utility belt to ride a little lower and not ride over the trouser belt (my personal preference). For me the waist is snug and the rest of the trousers fit loosely, which allows for tactical movement. I have worn these trousers on deployments in: hot tropical areas, hot desert areas, and cool mountain areas. They are comfortable in each of those terrain AOs. They are reliable and durable. My oldest pair are 7 years old, they show no thin or worn spots, or stains. On the down side, the cargo pockets on the lateral thigh are a little too low (but I thought the BDU thigh pockets were also too low. You should be able to reach the bottom of the pocket with your fingers without twisting, turning, and bending.) The lateral calf pockets are useless because any weight in them makes the trousers hang and swing in an undesirable way. Except for the placement of the pockets, these trousers are reliable, durable, and perfect for tactical work. I recommend these trousers to operators of all types.

Love them
Comfort and durability. I have purchased several pairs of these and wear them every day to work as maintenance in a factory. They stand up to the grease, oil, and whatever mystery sludge. Pockets to carry a wide variety of small hand tools. Lower pockets are perfect for the phone and I don't worry about breaking it while climbing on or under machines.

Worth it.
I have 3 pairs for work, and i love them. Way more comfortable than the pants i actually get issued.

Veteran nostalgia level: High.
Remind me of my old ACU's, which is why I purchased them. I like the calf pockets, it aids in carrying all my knives, and I'll feel less naked with them on me. The fit is exactly like I remembered it. If you used to serve or wish to wear these awesome pants, the fitting is the same as the military service uniform sizes. As long as you know what your size is, these will come in with a perfect fit every time. The material is great and seems just as sturdy so they should last me a while, especially since I won't be punishing them as hard as I did in Afghanistan or through training. When I need pants again, I'm definitely ordering these, who says tactical can't be fashion centric.

Sizes run a little smaller than size char
They are really nice pants for the price BUT their sizing chart is off. I orded a 42 and it is like maybe one size down from that. I'm just going to make them work for now when I'm on duty.
