Runs big and baggy, size down
I first ordered the mediums but they were very baggy. Then I ordered the small and they fit pretty good with enough room and length.

Runs big, as others have said
The sizes are pretty far off, I typically would wear a size large, but in these I'm wearing a small?!? Haha, I ordered large, then medium, then small.. small somewhat fits, I tried extra small and the waste was just a little bit too tight, length and bagginess was good but waist too tight so I decided to stick with the size small I had ordered before (I still had them waiting to see how the x small fit). To give reference, I am 5'11, I weigh 175 lbs, I typically wear a size 33 waist in jeans. The small in these is actually still a little big (more like a 34 waist?) But they work since you can tighten the sides of them with the built in buckles and also we will be wearing a belt with these pants in the wildland setting anyway, also if worn in cold weather with thermals it will take up a little space as well. Good luck hope this helped.

Hired vendors for wildland Fire
Bought these as a hired vendor for cal fire / forestry. I’ve had them inspect by both and they have meet all requirements. The fit is honestly awful so I would suggest doing the try before you buy and sending back what doesn’t fit. I needed an XL Long and I’m normally a 40x36 in jeans if that helps anyone. Shipping took a while so keep that in mind if ordering in a rush. They are easy to clean and don’t hold stains any worst or better than anything else. Overall the product for the price is pretty fair.

Button fell off on the pants first fire..
I know these aren't the most quality WLF pants but these arrived with loose threads all over and the button even fell off on week one. Mind you my job in the field isn't as strenuous as hand crews, as I work as a medic.. Didn't want to wait to see what else "came undone" as we know, just to get this type of clothing sewn up properly can be a bit of a headache as well..

Very baggy/loose fitting
Too loose/baggy for my liking. Otherwise fit as should according to size chart

Pants are good.
The sizing chart was off. I have a 33 waist so I bought the 34. Well the actual size is from 34 to 38 and the little cinch strap won't stay tight.

Thin material. Order 1 size down in length and waist
Paper thin, wich you would think is good in hot weather, fire environment. Seems like they would rip jumping in + out of truck, etc. . They do look professional, for around station / public. I'm 6' 2", 240 lbs. . Ordered Medium waist, Short length and they fit just right. Scratchy fabric on inside. Use your best judgement.

For men's medium and small waist, the sizing chart is correct.
Based on previous comments, I ordered a size smaller (Small). Should have gotten the medium. Other pairs I have use a heavier material, which is fine for brambles but is bad for hot weather. I prefer this lighter weight.

Small pocket
Right side pocket is really stitched small. Can’t fit my hand inside
