Sharp Scissors
These work great. Magnet on back makes them super convenient on the fridge to grab for meal prep.

lots of unnecessary features
where to begin, I really like most rachael ray products. I have and use her cookware, bakeware & a few utensils. I needed a new kitchen scissor as my old one (not a rachael ray) was starting to dull. I saw the rachael ray kitchen scissor and decide to give them a try. i liked the idea of the magnets on the sheath but the magnets aren't strong enough to hold sheath in place, so you grab the scissor & the sheath comes with it. The herb stripper works well, does what it suppose too. I found the scissor very uncomfortable to hold & use, fingers in handle seem tight with no flexibility. I also feel the scissor doesn't cut well due to the cut out curve on the shears. If you use the end to cut it works fine. As for the other items, scaler, screwdriver bottle opener and separating the shears to turn it into chopping/cutting knife...way over thought & priced for what it is. Next time I'll just buy a regular plain jane single function scissor.

OK shears with some issues in finish, notch may be divisive
This pair of kitchen shears from Rachael Ray is packed with features, but lacks some polish. The hinge is designed to allow both halves of the shears to separate, for easy cleaning. One of the blades has a notch that may be a spot to grip onto a woody stem (like cutting rosemary) instead of having it just slide on the blades and out of the shears, but that notch also causes a bump ever time I use the shears on normal things. The peak of the notch has a slight bevel that may need to be made more shallow to avoid that bump/binding. I've yet to find the notch useful and I feel that bump every time I use the scissors, but I also understand the point for it. Metal outcroppings exist on the shears to add a bottle opener, shellfish cracker, pick/screwdriver, and fish scaler surface. The plastic handles also have rubber grips molded into them, but there are some areas where the plastic molding and rubber grips have burrs that don't fit the premium price of these shears. The storage sheath is something I'm finding useful, as I can store the shears up on the side of my refrigerator. The problem with the sheath is that the magnetic surface is large but not grippy or strong. Storing the shears in the sheath frequently causes the sheath to slip. I may need to epoxy some stronger magnets on or add some rubber bumpers to prevent this, because I really do find it useful to have scissors near my fridge for opening boxes/bags. I haven't used the herb-stripping holes that are built into the sheath yet.

Nice looking sheers
My favorite thing about these is the magnetic holder – having scissors where you need them when you need them is half the battle sometimes. So I have put these on the side of my refrigerator. I don’t think I will realistically use the herb stripping because the holder has a magnet in it and is not dishwasher safe. If it was dishwasher safe, I think that would make more sense. I do think it is funny that the product page calls out many features that are common across most scissors: bottle opener, fish scaler, screwdriver, 2 pieces and dishwasher safe. Based on the kitchen shears I have seen, these are mid-range as far as price goes. So at this point, what matters is how long they last.

Good Quality
I like these scissors, their made of good material, especially for the price. The only wierd thing is if you open them too wide it comes apart. I think it's for being able to use them for more applications besides just cutting. They come with a magnetic holster to store them in. Pretty cool. I'd recommend ????

Not the greatest
The curved top blade is an agitation. The notch in the blade is too big so it’s hard to cut with these scissors. I do like the magnetic holder, very convenient to just stick these shears to my oven by my sink. They are easy to clean, pop them apart and throw them in the dishwasher. The herb stripper is a nice feature on the case. They were at least sharp and the color is nice.
