Don’t mix!
I love this for my daughters loose coils but it does nothing for my thick tight coils. It may leave a flaky residue when paired with moisturizer’s but I’ve found that can be avoided by letting the hair dry a bit and adding a little oil.

It's ok
I like how light and nice it is. It has absolutely no build up. I don't know if it stops shrinkage as my son's hair still shrinks when he gets up in the mornings.

Nozzle is atrocious!
I absolutely love this leave-in!! The smell is great, it makes my hair feel soft, and I love the consistency. Although I guess my main problem is because of the milky consistency it's too heavy for a fine spray or mist, it just comes out in a stream. Literally a beam of this hair milk shoots straight out lol. It bounces right off my hair lol! I have to spray it into my hands and run it through my hair. I thought it was a defect so I ordered another bottle. Same issue. Put the product into another spray bottle I had. Same issue. Infuriating. Lol. Otherwise the product itself is excellent! Will definitely buy again, just please do something about the nozzle, it's a real pain.

I have a fine texture. This gel is good to hold down my hair. It is light and form my curls easily. However, once it dries it looks very dry, no shine either.

I have viewed different ways of how to use this product on youtube and the internet before purchasing on Amazon. I chose to try it out figuring this product would be a littler nicer/kinder on my naturally wavy, curly, fine/thin hair without the use of stiffening products designed to hold a hair style in place. This is a huge container of product. It does not have a strong fragrance. I would describe it as having a semi-thick in consistency. Meaning it is not too thin nor too thick. Once applied to the hair it does not leave a sticky residue. There was a slight ‘holding/stiffening’ of the hair- not crunchy or hard-hair still moved naturally. The curls did remain elongated as opposed to shriveled up and tight. There was white residue on the comb and brush the next day after grooming. So, I feel like this is a product that definitely should be rinsed/washed out of the hair. It washes out with ease. In my opinion, if you have fine/thin hair as I have, the amount of product in this container will last a long time as you do not need a lot of product to produce the desired amount of curls. I would recommend watching some tutorials and videos on this product to get an idea of what to expect from the finished hairstyle. Also, I found this product to slightly dry my hair out and cause frizz. I have played around with the application of this product on my hair. I found it seems to work the best on soaking wet hair with a cream based leave in conditioner as opposed to towel dried or completely dry hair. The style did not carry over onto day 2. So, I guess if you are better than I am with hair styling, you may be able to use this product and carry the style for a few days rather than only one day. Overall, this product does in fact work. The curls I experienced did remain elongated and looked hydrated and healthy. Some may simply see slightly more defined waves and curls while others may see no difference at all. Personally, I was not impressed with the results on my hair. To me, my hair looked the same with or without this product. I would recommend buying this product if you want to try it out and are really looking for some curls. I am not disappointed in purchasing this product because I understand, everything is not for everyone. I will not purchase this product in the future for use on my own hair as I do not feel my hair responds well to products like this [I have also tried many other products designed to ‘make your hair curly’]. I am not sure how this product would fair on thick or straight hair. All I can say is, try it for yourself.

The jar came broken, I had to put tape around it so the gel doesn't become hard. It smells nice though. Also, here is a picture of the ingredients for all those people that’s too lazy to google it ;).

Really great gel
I've tried a few gels for my 3a curly hair, and I keep coming back to this one. Its got a lovely fresh smell. Its a bit sticky so I find it clumps my curls together to give them nice definition. It gives a good cast, and once you scrunch it out it leaves the hair really soft. Its got good hold too, my curls stay bouncy for 2 days usually. CG friendly.

It didn't work for me - no elongating!
I am mixed race and have long curly hair prone to frizz. I am not impressed with this product. I followed the directions on the tub, but unfortunately my hair did shrink up once dried - it looked awful like a massive mop - no elongating at all! I have better results when just using a shea butter leave in conditioner. It also left my hair feeling crunchy. Tried it several times with same result so have since chucked out.

Very Good product
I use this product everyday. I never thought I could keep my curls for a longer period until I used this product. It has No Scent and works perfectly. Doesn't leave your hair too dry and you barely feel the product even when washing your hair after using. I would recommend it for anyone looking to keep their curls going for the whole day :)
