Excellent coat for food prep and other work

This is a well-made work coat typically worn by chefs, butchers other food preparation professionals. Also makes a nice shop coat in many other situations. Sturdy fabric and good construction as expected.

Full coverage clothes saver, way better then an apron in the kitchen!

This was just what I needed for working in the kitchen. So many times I’ve ruined my clothes with grease splatter, sauce etc. that hit me where my apron didn’t cover, like on the chest and arms and down my pants. This solved that problem with complete coverage. I’m 5’9” and this goes about 5” past my knees. The arms were a little too long but they cuff easily. I am a women and the medium fit me well, the arm length would be fine for a guy. On the medium, total length from the base of the neck to bottom is 44.5” Chest across underarms 24” Sleeve length from shoulder seam 24.5 18.5” across shoulders Waistline about 23.5”. After one wear in the kitchen it was already covered with splattered food, so it already saved one outfit! This is so much better coverage then a kitchen apron. It has open side slits so you can reach your pants pockets. I will be using this during the summer when I butcher the hogs we hunt. This is a fantastic butcher coat.

Excellent coverage, great design

I am a long time user of the Red Cap lab coats and I use them exclusively to protect my clothes as I paint in my landscape painting studio. When this became available I wanted to try it to see how it compared. I have to say I think I like this better primarily because it covers the legs about 6" inches more in length. The material is also just slightly heavier which gives a more robust feel to the jacket and gives a bit more warmth in the winter. I also prefer the snaps. I wear this to keep me clean and to put on and off quickly as I transition from studio to house (like when I eat lunch, etc). This allows for a quick transition. The only downside is that the lab coats have three front pockets including slits on the sides to access your pants pockets. This only has the slits. But really that is all you need to stash a phone or have access to wallets etc. This is my new go-to overcoat.

Great protective coverage for messy work

Comfortable , snap closure is easy to use, great coverage for Messy work, not too heavy but feels well made and tightly woven so it really protects clothes.
