Light weight but powerful
A vacation rental had this dryer, I liked so much I immediately ordered and it had arrived when I got home. I have arthritis and it's so much easier to hold this tiny dryer and it has just as much power as big ones

Not Strong Enough
I was looking for a small powerful dryer to take on vacation. This was OK but enough to do the job. I’m going with a full sized hair dryer instead.

Compact and works great but will need replacing before a year
Lightweight yet powerful, and dries hair really well with the ionic feature. However, after a while, the heat element starts to falter by intermittently blowing hot air , then cool air. I still love this inexpensive little hairdryer, and get 2 at a time for when it starts to go.

At this price? Blown Away!
I'm actually shocked by the quality of this thing given the price. First off, it looks way nicer in person than in the photos. The red is a deeper, dark red. The white is a smooth, warm matte finish that contrasts the gloss dark red. And the chrome is badass. Even the filter on the back is metal and looks great. The balance is a bit off as it's so small and light that the cord is the heaviest part. But most important of all was the heat and the strength when you turn it on. This thing is almost instantly blowing hot air, and at a great force given it's compact size. I was really worried that the combination of small size + cheap cost would make for a weak blow, but not so. Can't be beat at this low price.

Summary: 4.5/5 - Overall, I would recommend getting this compact hair dryer but only when it is on sale. It is powerful, compact, and sleek. I have had it for two years and used it lightly and it still works like new. The power cord is nice and long. Fairly compact, but huge size of safety plug
Just used it for first time, and seems to dry my medium length hair well, hopefully that will be long lasting. I bought it because it says compact, but what they don't show in photos is the plug, which has a useless feature to turn off if put in water. The plug is huge and adds weight! Also, if you plan to give as a gift, Amazon doesn't place it in an Amazon packing box, it comes with labels permanently stuck to the product box, which not only ruins the gift giving, but thieves could see what is left on my doorstep. I would have preferred to choose the purple colour, instead, got neither the purple or the red that is shown. It is a dark maroon color. But, does dry hair well!

Worked awesome!
I bought this to bring with me on my Europe trip because we packed light and brought backpacks for our luggage. I have long and thick hair and it unfortunately takes a while to dry with a regular high quality hair dryer so I was worried it was going to take extra time with this smaller dryer. But I found I dried my hair in the same amount of time with enough ease. It definitely got the job done, it's very light and small enough that my husband wasn't able to get mad at me for over packing ;)

Perfection!
Every time I turn this little beauty on I'm reminded that I need to leave a review. So here goes. I have been using it daily for months and I love this hairdryer. I don't use it to dry hair (if you know, you know) and it's perfect for my needs. It has a nice purr, feels more expensive than it is, and doesn't overheat. The rear screen on it is unlike any I've seen in a hairdryer, somehow it doesn't ever need to be swept of its lint collection. There have been several times when I've wondered if I should purchase a second one in case Remington stops making them. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by this hairdryer. Seriously. Perfection!
