I like the style of these lights

These match the lever style of the rest of my bathroom fixtures. I did not have any problems mounting the lights like I have read on other posts. I assume because I used fairly deep octagon electrical boxes. I did have to adjust the mounting screws but there was plenty of room for them to extend inside the box for the adjustment. It would have been a little harder with a single rectangle junction box but not impossible. It just may have required making the mounting screws shorter. My photo shows 40 watt (equivalent) led bulbs but I will likely get brighter ones later after I finish my renovation. I will be mounting dual mirrors below the lights.

This is a good light fixture, easy to install, and pretty on the wall. Installed it w a dimmer switch that works well together. No issues. Good price

Looks Good, But Installation Can Be Tricky

Ok, these light fixtures look really nice once you get them in, but getting to that point can be tricky. Once I ditched the useless instructions and got myself the correct parts, installation was a breeze. Here's what I figured out. First, go to a hardware store and get some #8-32 x 3/4" round head machine screws, along with matching flat washers and lock washers. The screws that are included are meant to go into the fixture, but they are way too long and don't work at all. Depending on how the j-box is situated, you may also need to get some screws to attach the bracket to the box since those aren't included. Second, you'll want to take those 3/4" screws you just bought and screw them into the mounting bracket first before attaching the bracket to the wall. Once it's on the wall, it's impossible to attach them correctly. I found that if I put two washers on the screw, then fed it through the bracket followed by a lock washer and the nut, that spaced things just right for a good, snug fit when the fixture is finally attached to the wall. I also used the long slot holes on the bracket rather than the set holes. That helped me match it better to the holes in the fixture, again, making for a better fit. Third, now that you have the fixture screws in the mounting bracket, you can attach that to the j-box. Depending on how the j-box is situated in the wall, you might be able to use the screws that come with the fixture to attach the bracket to the j-box. They worked out just right for me. Finally, hook up the wiring, attach the fixture, install the shades and light bulbs. Then do some fine-tune leveling and you should be all set. So, the key really is making sure you have the correct screws and some washers to get the spacing right. It's absolutely ridiculous that you have to go buy them since the manufacturer is too cheap or dumb to have figured that out. But, hopefully, this saves you some time and sanity!

These mimic an expensive brand!

I used these lights for 4 baths so far and they are functional, beautiful, sturdy and mimic the brand name vanity lights I usually buy

Trash the instructions and get 2 lightbox screws

First of all I received it with a cracked globe. But we desperately need a light so I’ll deal with it for now. Secondly take the instructions chuck them in the trash and follow these steps. 1 before applying the plate take the long screws (provided) with washers, and position them on the bracket. They will need to go in the holes closest together on each side. Leave about 1” presses through then apply washers to lock in place. 2 get your handy pliers out and bend the bracket slightly so the holes will lineup if you do not your holes will not lineup and the bracket will not fit. 3 now find yourself two screws (not provided) and mount the flat part of the swivel plate in the light box. 4 now wire it up. If you’ve gotten this far I shouldn’t have to tell you how to wire it. 5 Now position the fixture so the holes lineup with the screws extruding from the light plate. Tighten it down with the decorative black nuts. 6 remove the ceramic flanges (and spacer). Add globes tighten with ceramic flanges. Insert bulbs. 7 use a level to straighten it up. Since it’s on a swivel plate it will never actually be stationary. But that’s fine because we’re not gonna touch it that often. Overall the light looks good, very modern, adequate lighting, perfect with our bathroom, and at a much cheaper price than a big box store. fixture materials are good quality but the installation hardware is questionable at best.

Good quality, easy to install.

met expectations. The mounting screws are way too long. 1.5" . They need to be .75" You can cut them or just pick up 2 at your local hardware store. 8-32 x .75" they were $0.14 each. The other thing is, when installing the lamp shades, if you have big hands, it is a pretty tight reach. The light looks great.

I followed suggestions of other reviews on how to install but it still took a while, the included bolts are too long and another review suggested a length that was too short so we improvised with several washers in order to secure the fixture to the light box and be able to have the bolts stick out enough to put the nuts on them. After install very happy with the look and brightness when facing the lights towards the ceiling of our bathroom

Awesome lights & great price

These lights are awesome don't listen to the other reviews where people don't know how to screw on the retaining ring for the shade. if they cross threaded it it's their fault. All ceramic light fixtures are like That. difficult to get threaded properly but easy to screw on. The metal is nice and a good heavy weight. everything for installation was provided except screws to mount the metal support bracket to the electric box. We also used our own wire nuts rather than the little ones provided. This is an excellent light and definitely a great light at a great price.. the mounting bracket comes with a second rotating piece so you can get your light level. Definitely A+ would buy again

Nice bathroom light. Exactly as pictured.

Taking a star off because it had a few scuffs on the front of the light but it was easy to touch up since it's black. Overall, it looks really nice and has a good build.

Cheaper at Home Depot

Great fixture, easy to install … found it at Home Depot after I installed it for $30 cheaper. Lesson learned, shop around.
