I turned it into a duvet….absolutely LOVE IT!!
I fell in love when I saw this, but like some other people, I really wanted it to be a duvet. I want anyone wondering the same thing to know that, YES, YOU CAN MAKE THIS INTO A DUVET!! I’m not a seamstress, so I took it to my dry cleaner, who is a wonderful seamstress. She opened up one end and we found that the layers are not sewn together, rather it’s completely hollow inside. I did some research and found that department stores fill their duvets with two inserts to make them look so full and fluffy, so I added two inserts into mine, and my Seamstress added a zipper where she opened it up. I also had her sew on the large rhinestone buttons to the bottom, as well as the two on the small pillow that came with the set to tie it all together. It’s so large on the inside I probably could’ve added even a third insert, but I doubt you could sleep under the weight of three! I am extremely happy with this set. The color of the purple is as rich and deep as in the photo online, the material is very lightweight, the pillows are definitely thin and need some fluffing when you take them out of the package. I think you could easily make a small opening in a seam and add some pillow fluff, but I have not done that in these photos. I highly recommend this set, but I also recommend you turning it into a duvet. Otherwise it does look quite flat. This is our guest bedroom, so I have not slept under this duvet yet, so I’m anxious for our first guests to arrive!

Wash in commercial washer
Please follow the washing instructions and wash it in a commercial washer instead of a household one. Mine ripped from stuffing it in my washer but I got a seamstress to sew it back together. Overall it’s beautiful and so warm.

The description was accurate. And overall I love this bedset. However! One pillow was ripped or just not sewn on. I feel like the packaging could have been better. Holiday spirits are up and this is a simple but effective Christmas looking set.???? I do love it! I just wish that pillow wasn't torn. I have kids so....

Enhanced spa feel in a casual way with good quality and comfort
I bought this to enhance the “spa” feel of my bedroom. I didn’t need anything heavy or extremely warm where I live and the medium weight of the bedding works for me. I like the crinkled look because it feels casual and contemporary. I didn’t want the bedding to overwhelm the room or be the focus of the design. Just a nice backdrop for the overall decor. This set wonderfully achieved the look and comfort I desired. I bought a few additional pillows elsewhere to add color (my photo shows pillows not included with this set). The price of the set is reasonable for the quality and number of pieces included. I wouldn’t classify it as extremely high end quality (pets and kids may wear it out) but it is a good quality that will last with proper care. I am happy!

Love this set! It’s so beautiful in person. The only downside is that it’s so huge (king size) that it took FIVE rounds in the dryer to dry.
