Effective
My toilet had become a two-flusher for solid waste. I don't remember how I heard about Roebic Main Line cleaner, but I tried it and things improved immediately. I've received a bottle every three months by subscription for the past six or seven years. Buy and use this, and whatever your flushing down the drain, it won't be money.

It Worked!
This was my last resort before calling the plumber... our toilet would not flush, leading me to think that it might by a clog. I checked the septic clean out, flushed, and everything worked fine leading me to think that it might be the clogged vent system. After verifying that was not the problem I made a last ditch effort to check the internet and discovered this product. At $8 there was not a lot to loose so we tried it. After the first treatment the toilet started working. We completed the 8oz a day for 4 days and it is still working fine. I will update this review if anything changes.

The proof is in the drain.
This is an easy review to write. Why, because this product works. My wife and my daughter have their own individual bathrooms. The drains tend to become slow from time to time. the last time I had them cleaned the cause turned out to be hair, particularly their showers. I pour this down the drain the last thing at night and then flush them with hot water. Problem solved, no more plumbers, it works. Try it and watch it open those slow drains.

works pretty well
Preferred the Roebic SGP, but this is good too. Make sure to start with lines closest to main drain, or septic, and work backwards through the house, otherwise you can just create a major clog at the sluggish point. [not sure why there is a star for softness on a septic product]

Clears up the muck, but the muck returns
I have an upstairs toilet that routinely gets clogged, enough so that I've had to go beyond a plunger to incorporate an auger at times. This product reduces the need for the latter significantly, I'm just figuring out the frequency to use this, as I suspect that this issue was there for prior owners, but not knowing how they dealt with it. This product is put into the offending place in four installments, but there is no way provided to know when one's put in one fourth other than by guess. The product does seem to work, and that's the bottom line.

IT REALLY WORKS.
I'd been working on my toilet for many days and received only very little progress. I tried plunger very hard, dish wash and I even bought a High Pressure Air Drain Blaster Gun. None of them worked. I was about to call plumber. Then I came cross this product and decided to have a final try. I can't wait to try when I received it. I followed the instruction and pour the first 8oz and wait. I poured the second 8oz the following morning and another two 8ozs the following two days. The water went through the pipe when I poured the second 8oz. I was so excited, but still didn't use the toilet until the whole process was done. The water was able to flushed away the following two days. It really works on my toilet. It saves me a lot of money. Going to do it again every 6 months.

Waste of time and money
Tried this to clear a slow kitchen drain. I had gurgling when water was drained away and tried this so see if it would help. If anything the gurgling got worse so I would NOT recommend this product. Waste of time and money.

Worked well.
This worked really well . We have an old farmhouse that was remodelled to include an extra bathroom, both with water saver toilets, and the basement has to flow through a pipe and then up to the septic field. So what has been happening is that the outflow because of the water saver feature, has left gunk in the mainline, add laundry residue, fibers, hair, etc, and we had a smell. So we used it in both toilets, and I put some through the washing machine. No smell in well over a month now. I bought enough to last 2 years and we also add vinegar to the wash, and that helps too.
