Excellent quality, good value, and stylish look

I replaced two bronze color hardback lamp shades with two fabric lined black shades that are perfect for a lamp with a black base. Don't know why I waited so long to have the look that I wanted, but Amazon came through with the right product and the look is awesome! I was afraid that the shade would not allow sufficient illumination, but did a trial run with several bulbs, and found the right ones.

Classic Lampshade

I purchased this shade for two vantage lamps. The shade supported the mid century modern style I hoped for. The color contrast exceeded my expectations- black and gold. I’m very pleased.

Looks as good as similar more expensive silk shades. Fast shipping. Well enough boxed for protection so this delicate product arrived undamaged. I ordered two BS-748-16LNBG and got the last one in stock. I don't know the term for this but the outside box pleat was created using separate strips of fabric and not from tucks in the base fabric. This creates very uniform dark stripes that look great -- see photo of shade with a flame finial. When second shipped a few days later, those stripes were created from true tucks & folds in the base fabric. The folds do not meet in center so the stripes are not completely solid side to side -- see 2nd photo. The two lamps themselves are not exactly the same and I actually prefer no perfect match, so I didn't even question the seller about this. They may well have replaced with an exact match but I'm very satisfied and just noting this can happen with a hand crafted product when supplied from two different runs.

A Good Mid Century touch

The shade is very good quality and changes the entire vibe of the room from grandma-ish to more clean or mid century. I am pleased with the purchase. I put it on an excellent quality, older brass lamp that matches current brass fixture kitchen and lighting styles. A small improvement for a big impression. I was very surprised at how this one accent switch out can affect the whole room.

HIGH QUALITY LAMPSHADE - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

I purchased an expensive lamp in 1972 that I have always loved. Unfortunately the glue holding the lampshade together gave way to age. After many hours on the internet on sites that just sell lampsshades I found this replacement shade on Amazon. Based on the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I am very pleased. The lampshade looks great on my lamp. Many thanks to the people who took the time to write the reviews!

I love this shade. It speaks to the phrase that you get what you pay for. In this case you get a lot. It’s very well made and really makes my floor lamp look great.
