Great quality, but huge size

This is not a regular sized spatula. It's a commercial size, which means it is huge. But that's okay. I could use it for a boat oar if needed! Fast shipping, great product, great price.

I like the long handle.

I am pretty sure this spatula was designed by an engineer not a cook. It will probably last until the world ends. The paddle is very stiff and nonconforming, so it is impossible to get a good clean scrape. But it will last forever! We use a power sprayer to rinse dishes before washing. This spatula has many small right angles that splash the water right back into my face. Very annoying. Again, designed by an engineer who has probably never washed a dish in his life! (Forgive the sexist pronoun). BUT it will last until cockroaches rule the earth!

BIG and SOLID

I wanted a bigger spatula to use with my large stock pots. This one fits the bill, though I wish the spoon part was a little less stiff. It doesn't really bend much, which makes scrapping pots to get everything out, more work.

Good, but also bad

I ordered 10 of these, 9 came in one box. Each was in it's own plsatic bag. They were clean, pristine, and I love them. The tenth one came in another box, it was not wrapped, it was visibly filthy, and covered in glitter. 10/10 for the product itself. 10/10 for the nine that came that were clearly new. -5 / 10 for the glittery dirty one? I don't understand amazon sometimes.

STURDY SPOON SPATULA...

This issa strong, heavy-weight, rubber-end, spoon-type spatula w/ a hard plastic handle. It will scoop, mix, fold, or scrape w/ spoon or edge. It is VERY sturdy w/ a very sturdy handle. I am buying this for a Santatime gift, along w/ other baking equipment for my new middle school granddaughter who is being taught to bake by my daughter. She is baking her own layer cakes and will need a good, sturdy spatula. This is it! I've wrapped it already (bit of a job, no box), so I can't say if the spoon part detaches from the handle...didn't think to check. This is a very good spatula, and I'm pleased w/ it as I'm sure she'll be.

YUGE !!

The stock photo doesn't really convey how big this thing is. It's really more of a restaurant tool, and only works in a BIG mixing bowl at home. And yeah, don't use it in a hot pot.
