Because of the lid, it keeps the bugs and rodents out. Using the peddle is very helpful.

Why the HUGE sticker?

Just got this trash can. Really nice, great color, but WHY would Rubbermaid put a huge sticker on the front that could not be removed without leaving adhesive!! A pet peeve of mine. I don't want to spend any time trying to remove the adhesive, particuarly for a $40 trash can. I doubt the finish will be the same after I manage to get it off.

Great step on trash can

I was sick of having plastic trash cans that looked really bad after a couple of years. I bought 3 of these trash cans For the bedroom, laundry room and bathroom.

A bit overpriced

Everything about this trash can is great. The stainless steel material, the color, easy to clean, not having to touch when opening but it is just a bit smaller than i expected it to be.

I received this item free as an Amazon Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only review items I will actually use, and use I do, prior to writing a review. This will probably be one of my shortest reviews but you can't say a whole lot about a trashcan. I needed a new trashcan for the staff restroom. This trashcan looks good and feels well made (pictured). I like that I can use plastic grocery sacks in it and the removable top hides the bag. The finish is easy to wipe down, sanitize and keep clean, a real plus in a staff restroom. As I do at the end of all my reviews, I ask myself if I would actually purchase this item. Yes, I would buy this can.

Solid trash bin

The trash bin is slim to fit in the gap between the toilet and closet in my restroom. Its cap is opened by stepping on the paddle so it’s convenient to throw trash without benching my back.

Wonderful Under desk trash can with style

I used this trash can to replace my 25 year old Rubbermaid trash can from my office. I had this same trash can since I was a kid in my bedroom and was now in my office.... finally was replaced and the old Rubbermaid trash can was moved to my shipping center in my garage... This can is alot more stylish which is good because my "new office" has the trash can under the desk in an exposed place and my scuffed up 25 year old can wasn't cutting it. This one looks good, and just like the old one; holds trash. I use bags in it though to keep it somewhat clean in the bottom. I hope this one lasts 25 years+ too.
