Neck has no hem

The costume looks great when it arrived, however, it has no stitching around the neck opening. It looks like someone just used scissors to cut a hole for the neck and left the material as is. The material is thick, but seems to be constructed like women's panty hose. It runs the same way. The area around the neck immediately became frayed and full of "runs" within a few minutes of putting on. Since it's cheap, either expect it to last 1 use or stitch your own hem around the neck before allowing the child to put it on. It's a bit awkward to wear, but due to sponge bob's square shape, this is to be expected. The costume bends well enough when needed to move around. The material is not super stiff.

Great for all weather!

We live in NH and there have been years that Halloween is in the 60s and years that it has been in the 30s. I love this costume because my kid could wear anything from shorts to a snowsuit underneath or anything in between! Happy with it!

Nice for the price!

I was worried it'd be too big, but it worked out great and could probably be used again. I wasn't sure about what size to get, as my 4 year old is very big for her age, but she was dead set on being Sponge Bob, so I guessed. It looked a little too big initially, but once she was in it, it seemed fine, not too different from the boy in the picture. The only problem I had was which shoe/boot to have her wear under the booties. It was tough finding something that fit just right with her size 12 kids shoe. The boot didn't have enough room and the shoe was a little small, so eventually the little strap on the bottom broke on both feet. This was probably avoidable, though, so I don't fault them.

Pay attention to size otherwise a great value

I actually saw this same product in a big box retailer for twice the price I paid on amazon so it scores big on the value meter. I ordered a medium size 8-10 but was surprised to see that it was recommended for 5 to 7 year olds in fine print on the packaging - I did not recall . Well I tried it on my bigger than average 8 year old (56" tall) and it will work just fine - I would say that it would fit my six year old too, so if I had the chance to do it all over I would size up. You are just getting the It just needs a Krusty Krab hat and some rocking tube socks.

Easy costume to put on and move in!

It came dirty and incomplete. Amazon sent another one and it was perfect. We never bothered with the shoe covers because they didn’t stay on but the main costume was great. Easy take off to go potty, other kids recognized it and loved it, great to bundle up under it when cold outside.

My Granddaughter Loved it.

My granddaughter wore it for Halloween trick or treating. I bought a florescent yellow, long sleeved t-shirt to wear under it and she wore black tights with her tennis shoes. The boots fit over the shoes with the soles of the shoes not being compromised so she couldn't slip and fall. Someone told her it was a "boy's" costume and I told her that it was a child's costume so if she wanted to wear it, she could. She loves Sponge Bob.

Children LOVE Spongebob!

This costume was a great choice for my son, 8 years old. It left his head clear, which he like for comfort and I like for safety. It is a straight forward Spongebob, and he can wear it for years because of the cut. I wish the manufacturer had used a more durable material, but I put it away right after Halloween so he can use it again. The shipping was very quick.

Ho avuto il costume nei tempi previsti.Ho subito notato che aveva la clip antitaccheggio attaccata e sono dovuto andare in un negozio a chiedere il favore di togliermelo.Per il resto la qualità è nella media mi aspettavo qualcosina di meglio ma è comunque stato apprezzato dal bambino.
