Nice ornaments for the kids to make. . .

You get 12 of each shape shown in the description. These are a nice size. No warped pieces, and no bleeding in the stamped coloring/painting lines. They are all un-primed, just natural wood. Thought that the kids might be able to use Sharpie markers, however, the markers bleed out as you attempt to use them. Instead we will be using acrylic craft paints, which will dry very quickly. With 48 of these, we will have enough to save for next year, and maybe the next after that. ***On a side note -- these come jumbled up inside a think clear plastic bag. There were beads of some sort inside the bag, and when I opened the bag, the plastic bag broke open and these "beads" fell on the floor. Then I realized that there was a torn "Silica Gell" bag lying on the table with the ornaments. So of course I jumped up and grabbed the vacuum, so that the dogs wouldn't try to eat them. So just a note to be careful and open the bag over the sink or a bowl, so just in case the Silica bag is broken.

Great value/ Great set of ornaments to give to classmates.

I am very pleased and pleasantly suprized with these ornaments. I knew they came with a string but for some reason i thought i had to go and attach the strings myself but they came already assembled. These ornaments are a really nice size ornament. I was expecting them to be really small but they are each about 4.5 to 5 inches long. I got 12 of each design- bear, snowman, angel, gingerbread. Good amout of thickness to the wood, not too thin.Great value for this set of 48 ornaments. I purchased them for my kids to give their classmates for christmas. I purchased just this one set and its enough for both classes. I think it makes a great gift for a classmate. The back can be personalized with the childs name and the year, or the giver can write a christmas greeting on the back, with his name so the reciever each year can look back and remember who gave it to him. Great product. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great way to personalize a Christmas Tree

Growing up my family had a story behind every ornament on the Christmas tree. My favorite was a set of wooden ornaments similar to these that my parents painted when they were first married. After going away to college and realizing that my own Christmas tree was fairly boring due to a lack of ornaments, I decided to hunt for some ones to paint myself. I am happy I found these! They are well made, and look great on the tree. I got a little tired of painting them after the first 10-15, but after hanging some up and realizing just how great they look, I found my motivation to keep going. This is a great project for kids who want to contribute to the tree, or couples looking for a great way to personalize Christmas. Best of all you only need the ornaments and paint (I used acrylic) which means very economical ornaments!

These are so fun to have a party (or several parties) to paint with friends of all ages. With adults, I use them on my tree the first year and return them after the holiday so they can enjoy them and the memories of making them in subsequent years. With children, I let them take them home and enjoy. It is a great affordable tradition to start and look forward to every year. These are a great find because they have lines on them for those of use who aren't naturally artists.

these were a hit a a children's xmas party

they are quick and easy to use as a craft for large groups and you can get as creative as you want when decorating them. the string is already threaded into the holes, which was nice. not too splintery for low quality wood cutouts. pretty good bargain

Fun, easy craft

Nice, easy craft for kindergartners. We used colored pencils, and they turned out how you would expect from 6-year-olds. I would give this product 5 stars if there were 6 different designs instead of 4. We had a lot of leftover angels.

Decent quality but some issues

These were bigger than I had expected. The outline on some ornaments was faded, and some of the ornaments had come apart in layers.
