Best price for the MOST DEPENDABLE bags!
There is no contest as far as I'm concerned. This brand and especially the FREEZER bags are worth every penny! I've tried all the generic or "storebrand" bags. I've tried other brands. But Ziploc freezer brand, any size, are simply the BEST product for the money! They are completely reliable! How many things can you say that about?? I live well below the poverty level and these are still the best buy! Why? I'll tell you. Because every single bag out of the box will function always! How many times I've bought cheap non-brands and had numerous bags that were nonfunctional. That is no savings! I need to know if I buy 38 bags, I have that many usable, dependable, bags. I plan on it. They NEED to last x amount of time. I can't just go buy more. If they run out early due to failure to perform, I will run out before there is money again. And nothing's worse than cleaning up a mess in the freezer due to product containment failure or (the dang bag broke!) I break a jar of Prego Spaghetti Sauce into three servings or more using my Ziploc Freezer bags. I live alone & can't use the whole jar at once. With Ziploc bags, I know the sauce will retain all it's flavour, without freezer burn or bag failure in the freezer. And bags used to store bread stuff or such are easily washable & reusable. I some times reuse bags for more food storage like for cheese. But they also get used for grandchildren's art & craft supplies. Only a Ziploc Freezer bag can stand up to that kind of use, wash & reuse, in my experience. They are amazingly dependable!

1,001 uses for my fave bags!!
When this stay at home stuff happened all I needed to have was my Ziploc Freezer bags in both Quart and Gallon size. I use them for 1,001 different things and I cannot be without them. I've tried other brands but these are the BEST. On vacation I pack a different outfit in each bag. They hold my 'hotel slippers' so I don't have to walk on questionable carpets. In the summer the beach tote has a few to hold snacks on the way to the beach and wet sandy swimsuits on the way home. They hold everything from recipes, to coupons, to markers, and legos. In the kitchen they hold leftovers and make great pastry bags in a pinch. I fill them with food, lay flat, label the end with a sharpie and freeze them. Then they stack like flat notebooks in my freezer with the wriiten end facing me when I open the door like a library. I go through several a day. You can figure out how to use them best.

Best Freezer Bags!
These are the best freezer bags I've ever tried. They seal off really well & the food doesn't get freezer burnt even after being in the freezer a couple months. The flap on the top make them super easy to handle and fill. 5 stars because this is the only brand I buy. I buy these in several sizes and every size are awesome! No I didn't get a discounted or free product for my review!

Bad smelling plastic bags and poor Prime Pantry
There are two parts to this review: 1) is the bags and 2) is Prime Pantry. 1) Ziploc has switched to the new smelly plastic which is now seen (and smelled) on cheap Chinese plastic items. This kind of plastic "outgasses". If you are sensitive to smells, don't use Ziploc. When you touch this plastic, the smell comes off on your hands. So I'm sure it would affect the smell and maybe the taste and maybe even the safety of the food stored inside. I'm very disappointed in Ziploc. I have older bags left from prior purchases, and those are fine. So this is a relatively recent change. (Hefty bags are still fine: I hope they don't switch.) 2) Amazon Prime Pantry has poor return support. It is not handled by the main Amazon folks. I was transferred to another group. The agent probably did her best, but she was unable to manipulate the system. No matter how hard she tried, she was unable to refund the full amount I paid. I wonder if Prime Pantry is handled by a totally different company, as subcontractors to Amazon? I will not use Prime Pantry again. This was my first and last experience.

Now my almonds, peanuts and dried fruit aren't sliding around like they used to in those cheap wimpy bags, ruh ruh! These bags are thick and have a great zipper too! Who can hate that? I'm sure someone but don't worry about the haterz

Ziploc Freezer Bag? Does the job better than the rest. This is an item I don’t compromise on. Scott Tissue, Sparkle Paper towels, Tide laundry detergent and Ziploc storage bags. Life’s small requirements.

Zip-Loc bags are the absolute best.
I have tried other freezer bags, but never have found bags with the same quality of Zip-Loc. I cook and freeze frequently and these bags, rather than freezer containers, make it easy for me to load the freezer with far more food than I could have done if I used containers. I've been using these for years and recommend them to friends who are rather uneasy about using bags for storing food rather than containers and have convinced the majority of them. I'll definitely continue to buy them.
